    摘要: The disclosure relates to a grounding component for electrically grounding an electronic component comprising an electrically conductive part. In some embodiments, the grounding component comprises: a first positioning element adapted to be positioned on an external face of the electronic component, the external face intended to be at least partially accessible from an outside of a device once the electronic component is installed in the device; a second positioning element adapted to be positioned on a face adjacent to the external face of the electronic component; a first contact element, which is electrically conductive and adapted to come into contact with the electrically conductive part of the electronic component; a second contact element, which is electrically conductive and adapted to come into contact with at least one electrically conductive part of another component of the device, when the electronic component is installed in the device; the first contact element and the second contact element being adapted to be in electrical contact, the grounding component being adapted to leave completely free access to the other faces of the electronic component which are adjacent to the external face.

    摘要: An electrical connector adapted for mounting to an upper surface of the printed circuit board, includes a contact module having an insulative housing with a plurality of contacts disposed therein and enclosed within an inner metallic shell, and an outer metallic shell attached to the inner shell and located between the inner shell and the printed circuit board so as to allow the raised type mating cavity which is formed by the inner shell. The contact module includes a metallic shielding plate with an oblique section. The housing forms an oblique section on the rear side to comply with the oblique section of the shielding plate wherein a receiving space is formed above a rear side of the connector and in alignment with a mating cavity of the inner shell in the front-to-back direction.

    摘要: An electrical connection device comprises an electrical connector. The electrical connector comprises: an insulative body; a plurality of conductive terminals provided to the insulative body; a metal shell surrounding the insulative body and an outer shielding member. The metal shell comprises a top portion, two openings respectively formed at two sides of the top portion and two first ground pieces positioned opposite to a side where the top portion is present and extending outwardly respectively from the two openings. The outer shielding member comprises a main body transversally provided on the top portion of the metal shell and covering the two openings and two second ground pieces respectively extending outwardly from two ends of the main body, the two second ground pieces each have a penetrating hole penetrating from a top surface to a bottom surface. At least a part of each penetrating hole of the two second ground pieces receives the corresponding first ground piece. By that the outer shielding member covers the two openings of the metal shell, EMI may be prevented from being produced.

    摘要: An electrical connector has an insulative body, a group of first conductive terminals and a group of second conductive terminals fixed to the insulative body, a grounding metal plate and an outer shielding shell. A front part of the shell forms a first mating cavity and a rear part of the shell forms a second mating cavity. An insertion space is formed between elastic extending arms of the first terminal group and elastic extending arms of the second terminal group. An electrical connector combination, which includes the electrical connector and a circuit board, is further provided. An inserted portion of the circuit board can be correspondingly inserted into the insertion space and can be elastically interposed by the elastic extending arms of the first terminal group and the elastic extending arms of the second terminal group so as to be correspondingly electrically connected.

    摘要: An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, a plurality of first receptacle terminals, a plurality of second receptacle terminals, and a rear cover plate. The insulated housing is received in the receiving cavity. The first receptacle terminals and the second receptacle terminals are respectively disposed at an upper portion and a lower portion of the insulated housing. The rear cover plate includes a baffle plate and a connecting portion formed at one of two sides of the baffle plate and connected to the rear of the metallic shell. The rear cover plate is closeable and openable, so that the soldering condition between the first receptacle terminals and contacts of a circuit board can be checked when the rear cover plate is opened.
