    摘要: Methods, apparatus, and systems are provided for controlling a payload of a gimbal stabilisation system for an aircraft during testing an antenna under test (AUT). The gimbal stabilisation system including a payload control assembly coupled via a yaw motor to a gimbal assembly. The gimbal assembling including the payload comprising a first section with a transceiver for use in testing the AUT and a second section rotatably coupled to the gimbal assembly. The payload control assembly including a controller configured to operate the yaw motor and gimbal assembly by: receiving an in-flight position of the aircraft during testing of the AUT; receiving a position of the AUT in relation to the aircraft; and controlling the gimbal assembly by: calculating a pointing direction and alignment of the first section of the payload relative to the AUT based on the received position of the aircraft and the received position of the AUT; and maintaining pointing and alignment of the first section of the payload towards the AUT based on the calculated pointing direction and alignment of the first section of the payload.

    摘要: A vehicle, vessel or airplane having an antenna and a motor rotating the antenna, a rotation encoder outputting information relating to the rotation and outputting the information to two controllers of which one controls the motor. The other controller receives the rotation information and information relating to a position/direction/axis in relation to the vehicle/vessel/airplane and outputting a second signal based thereon. The output of the second controller may be used for controlling the motor to have the antenna directed toward e.g. a satellite irrespective of the motion of the vehicle/airplane/vessel.

    摘要: The present disclosure describes a telecommunications equipment mount. The telecommunications equipment mount includes a stabilization frame having a plurality of lower rails, a plurality of vertical rails, and a plurality of upper rails, the lower, vertical, and upper rails forming a top, a bottom, and at least sides of the stabilization frame to define an open interior cavity; at least one mounting member extending outwardly from, and perpendicular to, one of the sides of the stabilization frame a distance; at least one brace member coupled to the stabilization frame and configured to support the at least one mounting member; and at least one mounting pipe secured to the at least one mounting member. The stabilization frame is configured to ballast the mount on a mounting structure when telecommunications equipment is secured to the at least one mounting pipe. An MMS may include an extendable mast, a motor configured to control movement of the extendable mast between a stowed position and a deployed position, and a logic device configured to communicate with and control the extendable mast and the motor. The logic device may be configured to adjust a speed of the motor based on a position of the extendable mast between the stowed position and the deployed position and based on deployment or stowing of the extendable mast. The logic device may be configured to adjust a torque of the motor based on the position of the extendable mast and based on deployment or stowing of the extendable mast.

    摘要: A pedestal is provided for mounting a portable antenna onto a platform. The pedestal includes a ring, a base, a horn and a prong composed of three-dimensionally printable composite resin. The ring attaches to the platform. The base inserts into the ring and includes an outer tube having a pair of axially distributed outer holes. The horn includes an inner tube for insertion into the outer tube and an inverted pyramid that connects to the inner tube. The inner tube includes at least three axially distributed inner holes. The prong has two probes that insert into the outer holes and two of the inner holes to secure the horn to the base.
