    摘要： A plug-in ground fault interrupting type circuit breaker includes a resilient jaw for engaging the neutral bar in a loadcenter. The jaw is formed at the end of a conductive strap which passes through the window of a transformer and terminates in a screw terminal for attachment to a neutral load conductor. The phase conductive path also includes a conductive strap that is coupled at one end to a phase load conductor terminal and at its other end to the breaker trip mechanism. The transformer and both strap conductors are mounted to a printed circuit board that is included within the breaker housing. The invention eliminates the separate pigtail for connecting the load neutral conductor to the loadcenter neutral bar.

    摘要： An automatic overload tripper which uses a push button to press a bent bimetal strip down against a spring which assures that a hook at an end of the bimetal strip can keep good electrical contact with a contact plate, and the hook can trip automatically at overload. The spring also pushes against the bimetal strip so that it will not restore its original position by itself after cooling, for safety purposes.

    摘要： In an overload protection switch including a narrow housing, bimetal strips mounted in the housing, a pushbutton mounted in, and projecting out of, the housing and made of insulating material, the pushbutton being provided with a partition and being movable relative to the housing between an on position in which a conductive path is established via the strips and an off position in which such conductive path is broken, and a spring device urging the pushbutton into its off position, the housing and bimetal strips are physically symmetrical to the longitudinal center axis of the housing, the path of movement of the pushbutton is along that center axis, there are two identical bimetal strips disposed symmetrically relative to the center axis, each strip having a first part fastened to the housing and a second part which is movable relative to the housing in response to temperature changes, with the second parts converging toward one another while remaining out of contact, the pushbutton carries a conductive contact piece at a location such that in the on position of the pushbutton the contact piece is wedged between the strips and is held thereagainst by the force of the spring device and in the off position of the pushbutton the partition is disposed between the strips.
