Abstract: A printed circuit board (PCB)-mounted contactor including a PCB with planar surface, source and load terminals fixed to the PCB, and a contact. The contact is supported by the PCB and is movable between open and closed positions. Movement of the contact is parallel to the planar surface. Electrical assemblies having PCB-mounted contactors and methods of controlling current flow in electrical systems with PCB-mounted contactors are also described.

Abstract: Disclosed is a magnetic latching relay capable of accurately positioning a magnetic circuit, comprising a magnetic circuit portion and a base, the magnetic circuit portion comprising a yoke, an iron core, an armature, and a bobbin, the iron core is inserted into a through-hole of the bobbin, and the yoke comprises two yokes, and one side of each of the two yokes is connected to the iron core respectively at the both ends of the through-hole of the bobbin, and the armature is fitted between the other side of each of the two yokes, the magnetic circuit portion is mounted on the base, with the axis of the through-hole of the bobbin in a horizontal manner; in at least one of the two yokes, a positioning convex portion is further provided on the outward face of the side of the yoke, positioning grooves are formed in at least one side wall to be engaged with the positioning convex portion of the yoke, to realize the positioning of the magnetic circuit portions on the base in the horizontal direction perpendicular to the axis of the bobbin through hole.

Abstract: A movable spring plate structure for defining an open or closed state with respect to a fixed contact includes a rigid spring plate contact portion, a soft spring plate warp portion, a soft spring plate force-applying portion and a movable contact. The soft spring plate warp portion is coupled to the rigid spring plate contact portion, and a first deformation gap is formed between the rigid and soft spring plate contact portions. The rigid spring plate contact portion is harder than the soft spring plate warp portion. The soft spring plate force-applying portion is disposed at the soft spring plate warp portion, and the movable contact is disposed at the rigid spring plate contact portion. A force applied to the soft spring plate force-applying portion drives the movable and fixed contacts into a closed state.

Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a contactor including a fixed contact and a movable contact, and an electromagnet device for moving the movable contact. The electromagnet device includes a coil generating a first magnetic flux by energization, a tubular body including a permanent magnet generating a second magnetic flux in a direction identical to a direction of the first magnetic flux and having a hollow extending in a center axis direction, a movable element disposed in the hollow of the tubular body and reciprocating in the center axis direction, and a yoke forming a magnetic circuit passing together with the movable element and the tubular body. The magnetic circuit allows at least one of the first and second magnetic fluxes to pass through the magnetic circuit. The electromagnet device is configured to, when the coil is energized, move the movable contact to a first position by attracting the movable element with the first magnetic flux and the second magnetic flux. The electromagnet device is configured to, when energization of the coil is suspended, move the movable contact to a second position different from the first position. This electromagnetic relay is easily designed and reduces power consumption at a low cost.
