摘要: The embodiments of the present application relate to providing a distributed network-based system that allows users to search for potential healthcare providers that satisfy certain criteria and to dynamically identify healthcare providers that best meet a user's particular needs as defined by each specific search. In embodiments, the system creates experience score for each particular provider who matches the search criteria. The experience score is dynamically determined based on the type of search that is performed (e.g., search by specialty or search by condition or procedure), the query terms used in the search, and other factors including for example, the medical specialty/specialties the provider practices relative to the search performed, evidence the provider treats a condition and/or performs a procedure that matches the consumer's search, patient volume for the searched condition or procedure, total volume of patients, board certification(s) relevant to searched performed, disciplinary action information, malpractice claims history, and degree level attained by the healthcare provider. In other embodiments, the system dynamically ranks healthcare providers within a search results list from best choice to worst choice based on several factors including, for example, the type of search, the query terms used in the search, the quantity of providers who match the query, the locations of the providers who match the query, and the quality and other characteristics of providers who match the search query.

摘要: A medical document analysis method includes following steps: performing recursive search based on keywords extracted from first medical documents to obtain second medical documents; analyzing feature labels of the second medical documents; projecting the second medical documents onto a multi-dimensional map according to the feature labels; estimating second symptoms from a first symptom; selecting third medical documents based on the first symptom and the second symptom from the multi-dimensional map; analyzing correlation between the third medical documents and their respective feature labels in the multi-dimensional map to form a label topology map; and selecting a target branch path from branch paths in the label topology map, and displaying information about the target branch path.

摘要: Systems and methods for calculating health care treatment statistics are provided. In one embodiment, a system comprises a data-holding subsystem storing raw medical claims data in non-transitory memory, and a logic subsystem configured to partition the raw medical claims data into a plurality of data sets based on one or more of insurance type, episode grouping, member key, date-of-service key, or a combination thereof, wherein the logic subsystem is further configured to calculate statistics based on each of the plurality of data sets and output correlated calculation results for display on a user device, and wherein the statistics include a frequency of patients receiving a health care service and an average cost of the health care service. In this way, a health care consumer may know what to expect for different treatment options for a given medical condition.

摘要: Methods and systems for guiding a patient for a medical examination using a medical apparatus. For example, a computer-implemented method for guiding a patient for a medical examination using a medical apparatus includes: receiving an examination protocol for the medical apparatus; determining a reference position based at least in part on the examination protocol; acquiring a patient position; determining a deviation metric based at least in part on comparing the patient position and the reference position; determining whether the deviation metric is greater than a pre-determined deviation threshold; and if the deviation metric is greater than a pre-determined deviation threshold: generating a positioning guidance based at least in part on the determined deviation metric, the positioning guidance including guidance for positioning the patient relative to the medical apparatus.

摘要: A method for automated therapy discovery includes: accessing a corpus of scientific publications; compiling a population of semantic concepts from the corpus of scientific publications into a vector space model; deriving domains of concepts in the vector space model based on proximity to domain descriptors in the vector space model; deriving association scores and action characteristics between connected concepts, based on proximity and action descriptors in the vector space model; generating a semantic network; receiving a query for a target concept and a target domain at a research portal; isolating a set of edges between a target node and a subset of nodes; identifying subsets of concepts along the set of edges; generating hypotheses for directions and magnitudes of effects of subsets of concepts on the target concept based on association scores and action characteristics stored in connections along the set of edges; and returning hypotheses to the research portal.
