摘要： Method and apparatus of producing gas pressure pulses in a dust-deposit cleaning apparatus. The apparatus comprises a combustion chamber and an amplifying horn. According to the method a combustible gas and oxygen is fed into the combustion chamber, which has a generally elongated shape, the gas mixture is ignited for generating a pressure pulse, and the pressure pulse is released from the chamber and conducted to the amplifying horn. The gas mixture is ignited to generate an initial explosion which causes a pressure wave, which is reflected from the inner walls of the chamber end to form a collision zone, in which the initial explosion is at least partially transformed into a detonation. The combustion front is reflected from the gas inlet end and compressed at the other end of the chamber and released to the amplifying horn. By means of the invention, sound levels of about 165-170 dB can be produced at low fuel consumption.

摘要： An audible waveform system is provided that senses a parameter relating to the ventilation of a patient. The system produces short bursts of sound of a predetermined frequency as the changes occur in that parameter based on certain increments of change. The bursts themselves are preferable at a frequency that is the same for equal pressures but increases and decreases in frequency as the parameter increases or decreases, respectively. In the preferred embodiment, the system provides an audible waveform based on the pressure in the patient airway so that the clinician can receive information relating to that waveform conveniently and without taking attention away from other monitors and/or alarms.

The apparatus provides a plurality of predetermined horn signals and horn modes, any of which may be selected by pressing an appropriate key on a keypad. The apparatus includes fog modes which will automatically repeat an appropriate horn signal within a predetermined period of time. The apparatus permits a helmsman and other crew members to attend to other duties without constant attention to the vessel's horn.

A hollow body has an internal sound chamber covered at one end by a vibratile diaphragm. An air bulb is mounted on the opposite end of the body and can be squeezed to vary the gobbling sound produced by the diaphragm. A hammer and anvil mechanism in the sound chamber reproduces the clucking sounds made by wild turkeys and can be activated independently of the diaphragm.

摘要： A method of playing a virtual after-burn sound in an electric vehicle is provided. The method includes acquiring driver tendency information generated based on information of music played in a mobile phone and collecting driving variable information for playing a virtual sound during operation of the electric vehicle. Additionally, characteristics of a virtual after-burn sound are determined based on the collected driving variable information. The characteristics of the virtual after-burn sound are corrected according to the acquired driver tendency information. An after-burn signal is generated for playing the virtual after-burn sound based on information about the corrected characteristics of the virtual after-burn sound and operation of sound equipment is adjusted according to the created after-burn signal such that a virtual after-burn sound discriminated according to the driver tendency is played and output from the sound equipment.
