The detection apparatus is further configured to measure the light radiation received by the object, and also comprises one or more image acquisition devices configured to acquire one or more images of the object, when illuminated by the illuminating device, and a data processor configured to process the images acquired by the image acquisition device and provide detection data indicative of the presence of surface defects on the object.

There is also provided an apparatus for evaluating said outer surface of said elastomeric roller, including an electromagnetic radiation source (140), configured to selectively emit electromagnetic radiation of a predetermined electromagnetic spectrum onto at least one predetermined region (125) of said outer surface, a detector (160), configured to receive at least a first reflection of said electromagnetic radiation from said at least one predetermined region, and a controller (270) operably coupled to said detector and adapted to determine at least one characteristic parameter of at least said first reflection. The present invention also relates to a method of evaluating a contact cleaning apparatus, including evaluating an elastomeric roller surface using electromagnetic radiation.

摘要: A method and a system is provided for inspecting surfaces and/or interfaces of high voltage and/or medium voltage cable components. The method includes capturing and storing a set of 3-dimensional, 3D, surface geometry measurement data of an area of interest of a surface of the cable or cable component by moving a 3D surface scanner about the cable over the area of interest. The captured 3D surface geometry measurement data are inspected to determine smoothness of the scanned surface, and the smoothness is compared with threshold data to provide a quality report for the scanned surface.

摘要: The present invention belongs to the field of computer visual detection, and relates to a binocular automatic gear pitting detection device based on deep learning, comprising a gearbox system, a data acquisition system, an image processing system, a tooth surface positioning system, a control system and a motor, wherein the gearbox is used for installing paired meshing gears; the data acquisition system is arranged on the side wall of the gearbox, and a CCD industrial camera is arranged on the data acquisition system; the image processing system completes quantitative evaluation of gear pitting and target detection based on a deep learning technology; both ends of the tooth surface positioning system are respectively connected with the motor and the gearbox, and the torque of the motor is transmitted to an input shaft of the gearbox. The device can determine the optimal installation base points of the data acquisition system according to the characteristics of the meshing gears, and find effective detection areas in combination with the light source and camera arrangement solutions, thereby effectively saving the installation space of the detection device and adapting to the operating characteristics of the meshing gears.

摘要: Systems and methods for creating a digital twin of an infrastructure component. The digital twin is a computerized, three-dimensional model of the component, typically a pipe, created after manufacture but before installation. The digital twin can be saved on a computer-readable storage medium for later retrieval, and can be loaded into three-dimensional modeling software for manipulation and viewing from various angles and perspectives. The twin is created from a plurality of imaging systems capturing different surfaces or different aspects, whose measurements are mapped to a uniform coordinate system to generate a three-dimensional model. Other data may also be added to or stored with the digital twin, such as manufacturing specifications, photographic data, and current or historical inspection data. The digital twin may be viewed on a mobile device programmed to receive, display, and allow the user to view and manipulate the digital twin.
