    摘要: A multi-test assembly for evaluating, detecting and monitoring processes at elevated pressure is described. The Mufti-test assembly has a pressure vessel equipped with trays or plates with a multitude of individual test cells, an optional lid for sealing the cells, and a system for the detection and/or monitoring of the processes in each individual test cell, in situ. Uses of the invention are detection of solid structure formation or phase transformation in, for example, hydrocarbon systems or mixtures of hydrocarbon and water, and also in an automated test which is optimized simultaneously with regard to several test parameters in the testing of inhibitors for gas hydrate formation. The multi-test assembly has built-in systems for pressure and temperature control. The assembly may also be connected to a set-up for the automatic dosing of reagents.

    摘要: A system for measuring differences in a physical variable, such as temperature, by utilizing predictable behavior in the relative time drift of offset curves for various circuit elements, including two sensors connected to a difference signal amplifier, an ambient condition amplifier, and an analog to digital converter. In an initial calibration mode, the system records several offset curves, stored in memory, correlating ambient condition measurements to offset measurements acquired from the ambient condition amplifier and the difference signal amplifier. Offset curves recorded in the initial calibration mode, correlating ambient condition measurements to measurements from the difference signal amplifier, include one curve recorded with both inputs of the difference signal amplifier held at equal potential and another curve recorded with both sensors held at the same value of the physical variable, over a given ambient condition range. Another offset curve correlates ambient condition to measurements from the ambient condition amplifier, with inputs to the ambient condition amplifier connected to voltages from a substantially time stable reference resistance bridge. These offset curves representing drift behavior, among electrical components, can be updated for time drift, at a single, current arbitrary ambient temperature, the measurements for which can be obtained quickly and applied as a time drift correction to the offset curves, without interrupting normal system operation, to provide a compensated difference measurement between the different values of the physical variable measured by the respective sensors. Additionally, the system dynamically tracks cumulative system errors, in order to calculate optimal system resolution, based upon current operating conditions.

    摘要: In order to compensate non-linearity in the zero drift of the bridge at very low temperatures, a strain gauge in at least one of the arms of the bridge is in series with a resistor, e.g., a connection lead, of resistance that is much less than that of the strain gauge, and a compensation circuit is connected in parallel with the resistor. The compensation circuit includes a resistive element, e.g., a platinum probe, whose resistance varies as a function of temperature in such a manner as to influence, in the very low temperature range, the resistance of the parallel circuit of which it forms a part, and to do so in a manner that is sensitive to temperature and that increases with decreasing temperature.

    摘要: A pressure sensor device having a temperature sensor includes a pressure sensor, a temperature sensor, a sensor casing for accommodating the pressure sensor and a connector pin for electrically connecting the pressure sensor to an outside circuit, and an inlet port mounted on the sensor casing and having a pressure introduction port for introducing a measuring object to the pressure sensor. The temperature sensor comprises a temperature sensing element and a pair of lead wires and is disposed in the pressure introduction port. The lead wires of the temperature sensor are welded to and supported by the connector pin. One of the lead wires is formed as a U-shape and inserted into the pressure introduction port while the U-shaped lead wire is inwardly depressed, so that a reaction force is generated at the lead wire, which outwardly urges the lead wire and the temperature sensing element to an inner wall of the pressure introduction port. As a result, the temperature sensor is firmly fixed to the sensor device of a smaller size and a vibration of the temperature sensor can be suppressed.

    摘要: A multi-rate speech codec supports a plurality of encoding bit rate modes by adaptively selecting encoding bit rate modes to match communication channel restrictions. In higher bit rate encoding modes, an accurate representation of speech through CELP (code excited linear prediction) and other associated modeling parameters are generated for higher quality decoding and reproduction. To support lower bit rate encoding modes, a variety of techniques,are applied many of which involve the classification of the input signal. The speech encoder continuously warps a weighted speech signal in long term preprocessing. The continuous warping is applied to a linear pitch lag contour that enables fast searching through linear time weighting. Optimal searching is performed within a limited range that is defined at least in part on sharpness and speech classification. The speech encoder generates the linear pitch lag contour from previous and current pitch lag values. Such continuous warping may also be applied in an open loop approach to the residual signal.
