    摘要： An actuator assembly that includes, in one example embodiment, a substrate with a bridge coupled between a first electrode and a second electrode on the substrate. A lithographically disposed flyer is positioned in proximity to the bridge. In a more specific embodiment, the actuator assembly further includes a lithographically disposed barrel that partially surrounds the flyer. A fireset is coupled to pins that extend through the substrate to the first electrode and the second electrode. The flyer further includes a three-dimensional surface adapted to flatten during flight. The flyer may be concave, convex, or may star shaped, may have perforations therein, or may exhibit another shape or other features.

    摘要： An annular base member of U-shaped cross section defines a recess which is at least partially filled with a gasless, combustible pyrotechnical delay composition. The recess and base member are covered by an opposing annular covering member of Ushaped cross section in pressure engagement with a deformable ring positioned between the interior base of the covering member and the upper surface of the delay composition which yields to fill any unfilled portions of the recess and to conform with the upper surface of the delay composition. An actuatable device adapted to respond to combustion of the delay composition is located adjacent the composition at a predetermined position. The covering member is provided with a plurality of spaced holes, a selected one of which receives an ignition device operative to ignite the delay composition at a position spaced from the actuatable device, and a barrier structure is disposed within the composition to assure that combustion of the delay composition thereafter propagates to the actuatable device in a single direction only, thereby to achieve an accurate time delay between operation of the ignition device and subsequent operation of the actuatable device.

    摘要： A spool wrapped with a covered fuze delay wire in which accurately predicle delays are obtainable and adverse relative or slippage motion between the wire and the spool flanges is precluded, especially during operative burning of the wire. The fuze wire passes through and is secured to the spool flanges by means of heat shrunk tubing elements abutting the opposed faces of each spool flange and containing a silicone rubber strip in which are embedded uncovered wire portions. The heat shrunk tubing is of silicone rubber material to insulate the uncovered wire portions from the spool.
