To provide sufficient primary air under adverse spatial conditions the air supply chamber (11) has an exterior wall (11′) and a pattern (13, 14) of perforations in the exterior wall, which are formed as additional air inlets for additional supply of the primary air.

    摘要: A gasification system that includes a gasification reactor chamber having perforated conduits or an inner lining that increases the exposed surface area of waste materials to gasification conditions, thereby decreasing gasification temperature, time, and cooling period between subsequent gasification procedures. After an aspirator withdraws and oxidizes fuel gas from the gasification reactor chamber, a flare assembly combusts the mixed fuel gas to provide power or heat to at least one heat recovery device. The at least one heat recovery device recaptures thermal energy entrained in the exhaust, thereby reducing exhaust temperature and eliminating the need for an exhaust stack. An absorber purifies the exhaust and an extractor removes carbon dioxide. A portion of the removed carbon dioxide may be used for industrial purposes or for supporting vegetation. At least a portion of the remaining exhaust is returned to the gasification reactor chamber as recycled process gas, thereby completing a closed-loop system.

Disposed within each of the openings is a premix burner or burner nozzle, each of which has a premixed fuel/oxidant outlet proximate the combustion chamber and a fuel/oxidant inlet distal from the combustion chamber. At least a portion of the premix burners or burner nozzles are sized to produce different fuel/oxidant delivery disturbance response times in response to a pressure disturbance within the combustion system. Differences in fuel/oxidant delivery response times are achieved by using burners or burner nozzles having different internal dimensions, different volume flow rates, and, optionally, by varying the fuel/oxidant ratios of the mixtures flowing through the burners or burner nozzles.
