    摘要: An electrically operated gas flow regulating valve in which a needle valve body (2) is moved axially through a motion conversion mechanism (4) by the rotation of an electric motor (3). The motion conversion mechanism (4) includes: a guide tube (5) in which is formed axially elongated slits (51) with which cam pins (21) fixed to the needle valve (2) are slidably engaged; and a tubular cam body (6) having a spiral cam part with which the cam pins (21) are engages through elongated slits (51). In an arrangement in which one of the guide tube (5) and the cam body (6), e.g., the guide tube (5), is rotated by the electric motor (3), hysteresis is restrained from occurring.
    The cam part disposed in the cam body (6) is constituted by a spirally inclined sides (61) with which the cam pins (21) are brought into contact from axial one direction. A spring member (7) is disposed so as to urge the cam pins (21) in the other of the axial directions toward the spirally inclined sides (61).

    摘要: Anti-rotation assemblies for use with fluid valves are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a retainer collar coupled at an end of a plug, the plug including a plug collar around which the retainer collar is disposed, the plug and the retainer collar being substantially flush at an interface between the plug and the retainer collar, a fastener extending transversely through the retainer collar and the plug collar to couple the retainer collar at the end of the plug, when the retainer collar and the plug are disposed within a valve body, a stem extends through the retainer collar and the plug to enable the plug to be moved within the valve body; and an anti-rotation collar to receive the retainer collar, the anti-rotation collar coupled at an end of a cage, the anti-rotation collar and the retainer collar having corresponding non-circular cross-sections to inhibit rotation of the retainer collar and the plug when the plug is moved within the valve body.

    摘要: In a preferred ball-valve construction, a valve body has spaced inlet and outlet ports on an axis of flow that is controlled by an interposed ball; the ball is rotatable about a body-fixed axis which intersects the axis of flow at the geometric center of the ball. In the closed condition of the valve, an annular valve-seat member associated with one of the ports has circumferentially sealed contact with the ball. The annular valve-seat member is guided for axial displaceability into and out of its engageability with the ball, and actuation of the valve utilized coordination of valve-seat displacement with ball rotation such that valve-seat engagement with the ball is only for the closed condition of the valve, and such that, valve-opening rotation of the ball can occur only while the annular valve-seat member is in axial-clearance relation with the ball. Various embodiments are disclosed.
