    摘要: A tubular shaft for a tubular shaft instrument includes a hollow shaft component, an actuating rod arranged in the hollow shaft component, and functional elements that are attached at the distal ends of the shaft component and/or of the actuating rod. The actuating rod is axially displaceable relative to the hollow shaft component to move the distal sections of the functional elements toward one another, past one another, and/or away from one another. The actuating rod includes at least one bending area in which flexible segments and support segments alternate and in which the actuating rod has significantly less bending resistance than outside the at least one bending area. A friction-reducing layer on the at least one bending area of the actuating rod reduces the friction of the actuating rod on the inside wall of the shaft component.

    摘要: A bracket assembly is configured for supporting a connector of a shift cable assembly on a transmission. The bracket assembly includes a first section and a second section. The first section defines a groove configured for receiving the connector. The second section is pivotably attached to the first section. The second section is pivotable relative to the first section between an open position and a closed position. The second section is configured for capturing the connector within the groove when the connector is received within the groove and the second section is in the closed position. The second section is configured to allow the connector to be removed from the groove when the second section is in the open position.

    摘要: A bicycle control cable is provided with a central wire and at least one resin string. The at least one string made of resin is spirally wound onto the radially outermost surface in a direction intersecting with a center longitudinal axis of the central wire with a pitch less than or equal to 1 millimeter. The at least one resin string defines a spiral gap between adjacent windings of the at least one resin string. The at least one resin string defines an outer sliding surface for reducing a sliding resistance of the central wire. The central wire and the at least one resin string define an inner wire configured to slidably move in an axial direction with respect to the center longitudinal axis of the central wire within an outer case to operate a bicycle component.

    摘要: A bicycle cable structure is provided with an inner cable, a first outer case, a second outer case and an adjustment structure. The first and second outer cases are disposed over first and second sections of the inner cable and the adjustment structure is disposed between adjacent ends of the first and second outer cases. The adjustment structure includes a main body and an operating member. The operating member is movably connected to the main body by a non-slidable connection between a first position and a second position. The operating member maintains the adjacent ends of the first and second outer cases farther away from each other while the operating member is in the first position as compared to the second position of the operating member.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a control cable having an outer casing provided with helically twisted metallic wires. The outer casing is light-weight, has a satisfactory buckling resistance, and can suspend generation of a vibrational noise. A control cable (1) is provided with an outer casing (2) and an inner cable (3). The outer casing (2) is provided with a liner (21), a plurality of wires (22) helically twisted around the liner (21), and a covering layer (23) formed on an outer side of the wires (22) in a radial direction of the outer casing (2). The material of the wires (22) is an aluminum alloy, and the pitch of the wires (22) is 10 to 35 times an outer diameter of a shield.
