In this way, the energy or amplitude per current wave flowing in the electromagnetic solenoid (39) can be made larger, so making it possible to produce minute vibrations of the valve body (41). Sticking of the valve body (41) can thereby be prevented.

    摘要: An abnormality detecting device for an evaporative fuel processing system is disclosed. The evaporative fuel processing system includes a fuel tank, a canister for trapping evaporative fuel generated in the fuel tank, a charging passage for connecting the fuel tank and the canister, an on-off valve provided in the charging passage for opening and closing the charging passage, and a pressure sensor provided in the charging passage at a position between the on-off valve and the fuel tank. A pressure in the canister is reduced to a pressure which is lower than the atmospheric pressure in the condition where the on-off valve is open. The on-off valve is closed at the time of completion of the pressure reduction, and it is determined that the charging passage is clogged between the pressure sensor and the fuel tank, when an amount of change in pressure detected by the pressure sensor is less than a predetermined change amount after closing the on-off valve.

    摘要: An evaporated fuel controller for an internal-combustion engine comprises a purge system for purging evaporated fuel generated inside a fuel tank to an intake system of the engine. The controller determines a guard value in accordance with driving conditions of the engine. The guard value is an upper limit of the evaporated fuel. The purge control valve is controlled to prevent the amount of the evaporated fuel from exceeding the guard value. Thus, the amount of the evaporated fuel is controlled so that influence on the air-fuel ratio control is minimized. In one embodiment, the controller further determines a transport lag of the evaporated fuel between the purge control valve and the engine. The controller determines an evaporated fuel amount purged a time period earlier, the time period corresponding to the transport lag. The purge control valve is controlled to prevent the amount of the evaporated fuel from increasing if the evaporated fuel amount purged the time period earlier is close to the guard value.

    摘要: The invention concerns an injection system for the injection of fuel into the combustion chambers of combustion engines. The injection system embraces a high pressure collecting area (5) (Common Rail), which is supplied across a high pressure pump (3) and provides fuel under high pressure to a number (n−1) of injectors (6, 21). The individual injectors 6, 21 each possess an injection nozzle (23) which is opened and closed by means of a vertically moveable nozzle pin (22). In a high pressure conduit (12) disposed after the high pressure collecting area (5) and leading to the injectors (6, 21) there is provided a first flowthrough valve (7). A run-off conduit (25, 31) is operated by means of a further flowthrough valve (26) disposed close to the nozzle.

    摘要: A fuel supply system is disclosed for a direct injected “V” type engine powering an outboard motor. The fuel supply system includes a pump for supplying fuel from a tank to a vapor separator. An electrical pump delivers fuel from the vapor separator to a mechanical high pressure pump, which delivers fuel under high pressure to a fuel manifold and further to a pair of fuel rails. The fuel rails supply fuel to fuel injectors for delivering fuel to the combustion chambers of the engine. Recesses are formed on a side of each cylinder head and one fuel rail is positioned within each recess. The mechanical high pressure pump is positioned vertically above the uppermost fuel injector so that any fuel vapor within the fuel rails will rise toward the fuel pump. Fuel vapor that accumulates within the high pressure fuel pump is returned to the vapor separator.

    摘要: In an electromagnetic fuel injection valve, a fitting surface of a valve housing, over which a seal positioning ring is fitted, is formed of a diameter smaller than that of an annular sealing surface over which a seal member is fitted. A tapered surface is provided between the fitting surface and the sealing surface, and a resilient projection is formed on the seal positioning ring, so that the projection is in pressure contact with the tapered surface in a state in which the seal positioning ring has been fitted over the fitting surface. Thus, the seal positioning ring can be retained easily and precisely in a regular position on the outer peripheral surface of the valve housing by a reaction force provided by the resilient projection and hence, no post-treatment is required.
