The system includes a controller communicatively coupled to an industrial combustion engine and an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system, wherein the EGR system is configured to route exhaust gas generated by the industrial combustion engine from at least one exhaust system to at least one intake system, the EGR system includes multiple EGR circuits, each EGR circuit of the multiple EGR circuits includes an EGR cooler unit including at least two of a high temperature non-condensing cooler, a low temperature condensing cooler, an adiabatic gas/liquid separator, and a reheater. The controller includes a processor and a non-transitory memory encoding one or more processor-executable routines, wherein the one or more routines, when executed by the processor, cause the controller to control operations of both the industrial combustion engine and the EGR system.

摘要: A controlling method of vehicle exhaust gas recirculation, an apparatus and an electronic device are provided in vehicle field. Before the GPF/DPF starts to work, controlling the EGR to cool the temperature of the recycled gas at a lowest gas temperature required being entranced into the engine; and after the GPF/DPF starts to work, according to a gas temperature change and an intake flow change of an air intake of the EGR, adjusting an opening of a valve arranged in a vent of the EGR and a working power of a pump arranged in a liquid duct of the EGR, for making the EGR to cool the gas recycled by the EGR in a safe temperature range required by the engine. The controlling method is associated controlled with a cooling system of the EGR, for ensuring the recycled exhaust gas temperature and the EGR rate in a suitable range.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for controlling engine oil dilution in automotive vehicles. The method comprises heating coolant by operating an exhaust gas heat recovery device and circulating the heated coolant via a first coolant loop between the exhaust gas heat recovery device and a heat exchanger; and heating coolant by operating an exhaust gas recirculation cooler and circulating the heated coolant via a second coolant loop between the exhaust gas recirculation cooler and the heat exchanger, wherein the heated coolant from both the exhaust gas heat recovery device and the exhaust gas recirculation cooler mix at the heat exchanger and allows heating of an engine oil via the heat exchanger. In one example, the method prevents excessive accumulation of water and/or fuel in the engine oil.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for operating an internal combustion engine system (2), wherein the internal combustion engine system (2) is provided with an air intake duct (3), an exhaust gas duct (4) and an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system (5), wherein the EGR system (5) comprises an EGR conduit (6) that fluidly connects the exhaust duct (4) and the intake duct (3), and wherein a gas feeding device (7) configured to feed exhaust gas from the exhaust duct (4) to the intake duct (3) is arranged in the EGR conduit (6). The method is characterized in that it comprises the step of: detecting an indication of accumulated deposits of soot, hydrocarbons or other contaminants in the gas feeding device (7) by determining whether a rotational friction of a rotary member (71, 72) of the gas feeding device (7) exceeds a threshold value. The invention also relates to an internal combustion engine system (2) configured for being operated by such a method and to a vehicle (1) provided with such an engine system (2). The invention further relates to means for controlling the above method.

摘要: An intake and exhaust system for preventing generation of condensed water may include: an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system circulating some of combustion gas from an exhaust pipe to an intake pipe; an active purging system compressing and supplying evaporation gas generated from a fuel tank to the intake pipe; and a controller to control the EGR system and the active purging system. In particular, the controller calculates a saturated water vapor pressure based on temperature at a position between the EGR system and the intake pipe, and calculates a saturated water vapor pressure based on temperature of the intake pipe and then compares one of the two saturated water vapor pressures with a water vapor pressure of intake air so as to reduce an EGR rate of the EGR system or a purging rate of the active purging system based on the comparison result.

The control device is configured, when an opening degree control execution condition is met, to execute a vibration reduction control for controlling the flow-rate-ratio control valve such that the opening degree of the valve disc becomes greater than or equal to a vibration reduction opening degree that is greater than a minimum opening degree within an opening degree control range of the valve disc. The opening degree control execution condition includes a requirement that a parameter (pulsation level value) that becomes greater when exhaust pulsation acting on the valve disc is greater is equal to or greater than a first threshold value.

A compressor is disposed in the intake line and rotated with a turbine to compress external air. A first recirculation line is branched off from the exhaust line and merged into the intake line. An EGR cooler cools exhaust gas flowing through the first recirculation line. A second recirculation line is branched off from the first recirculation line. A bypass line is branched off from the first recirculation line between an electric supercharger and the EGR cooler. A three-way valve is disposed where the bypass and first recirculation lines join. An intake valve is disposed in the intake line between where the first recirculation line and intake valve join and where the bypass line and intake valve join.
