    Abstract: A mining mesh comprises successive undulated transverse links (1,2,3,4), which are interconnected together at the bent portions of the links, whereby each pair of successive undulated links (1,2), (3,4), . . . forms a row of adjacent rectangular or square meshes (5) having four sides.     Abstract: Tunnel excavator for forming an upper half annular hollow space in the solid earth. The excavator has an arch shaped shield provided with a plurality of chambers in which excavating machines are located. Each of the excavating machines is swingably supported in the respective chamber and gripper means for securely abutting against the outer and inner surfaces of the solid earth formed by the upper half annular hollow space is located in each of the chambers. Thrust generating means is connected between the respective excavating machines and the respective gripper means so that the excavating machines can be advanced by the action of the thrust generating means when the gripper means is actuated to abut against the earth.

    Abstract: A composite casing voussoir of the type constituted by a mass of concrete or like material and a metal reinforcement. The latter comprises a web having the general shape of a portion of a cylinder and a peripheral radially-extending fixing frame which has a curvilinear rectangular shape. The mass of concrete occupies a cavity of the reinforcement which cavity is open at least partly in a radial direction. According to the invention, the reinforcement has means for hooking the mass of concrete constituted by a projecting flange located over said cavity.
