Abstract:
A lifting apparatus (100) includes a connector assembly (110) with a first connecting member (120), a second connecting member (130) and a connecting link (140), the first and second connecting members (120, 130) configured to be pivot-mounted at first ends (122, 132) to a first stationary component (200), and a pneumatic supporting member (150) is coupled to the first and second connecting members (120, 130) via the connecting link (140). The connector assembly (110) and the pneumatic supporting member (150) are configured to perform a lifting motion, wherein, when performing the lifting motion, the first and second connecting members (120, 130) transition from a first position (P1) to a second position (P2) and the pneumatic supporting member (150) transitions from an extended position (EP) to a compressed position (CP).

A window stay comprising: a frame plate; at least one arm coupled to the frame plate by a frame plate pivot; and a bearing plate engaged with the frame plate, the bearing plate and the frame plate together configured to be mounted to a window frame having a frame channel; wherein the bearing plate comprises a support member for supporting the bearing plate above the frame channel; wherein the support member is a projection that extends from beneath the bearing plate.
Abstract:
A construction panel for a side of an item of furniture of a furniture body includes a plate-shaped central part having a first front surface and other front surfaces, and a cut-out arranged in the central part. The cut-out extends at least along one section of the first front surface of the construction panel and is used to accommodate a stop that guides a moveable furniture part. The construction panel includes, in the region of at least one of the additional front surfaces, at least one machinable section that is outside of the cut-out.
Abstract:
A tonneau cover system includes a cover and a pivot mechanism. The cover includes a plurality of panels hingedly coupled together, and is foldable between an extended configuration and a folded configuration. The pivot mechanism includes a first link bar and a second link bar. The first link bar has an upper end pivotally connected to a forward panel and the second link bar has an upper end pivotally connected to the forward panel. With the cover in the folded configuration, the pivot mechanism may move the stack from an initial stack configuration in which the forward panel is in the first plane to a storage stack configuration in which the forward panel of the cover extends upright along a second plane, and to simultaneously move the forward edge of the forward panel rearwardly and above the first plane.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a mechanism (1) for a window (2), which is displaceably guided along grooves (4) and mounted pivotably 180° and 360° around a horizontal bearing spindle (5) and which comprises means (6 and 7, respectively) for the guiding and locking, respectively, of the window (2). According to the invention, a single handle (10) or another lever is situated or coupleable in the frame (8) or casement (9) of the window is connected with said locking means (7) for the window (2) and/or is connectable with said guiding means (6) for the window (2), whereby the locking and guiding, respectively, of the window is arranged to be provided by said single handle (10) or lever.
Abstract:
A synchronization apparatus has at least two actuating apparatuses for moving a movable furniture part, and has a synchronization rod for synchronizing the movement of the at least two actuating apparatuses. A first end region of the synchronization rod can be connected to a first rotary part of the first actuating apparatus, and a second end region of the synchronization rod can be connected to a second rotary part of the second actuating apparatus. At least one rotary part of the actuating apparatuses has a spring-loaded contact-pressure part which bears against the end face of the synchronization rod.
Abstract:
A movably mounted furniture part includes a torque-transmitting shaft, especially a synchronizing rod. The shaft has at least two sub-shafts, one sub-shaft being a rod-type component and the other sub-shaft being a connecting part. A connecting device connects the rod-type component to the connecting part, and can include at least one spring that resiliently holds the rod-type component and the connecting part together. A locking part is formed on the rod-type component and/or on the connecting part and/or can be mounted thereon, with the locking part securing the rod-type component and the connecting part against detachment.
Abstract:
A hinge includes a bracket, two fixing seats pivotally connected to the bracket, at least one base, at least one first arm pivotally connected between the at least one base and the at least one fixing seat and at least one second arm pivotally connected between the at least one base and the at least one fixing seat. At least one spring is provided between the at least one second arm and the at least one base such that when both the at least one first and second arms are pivoted relative to the at least one base, the required recovery force is provided to facilitate the upward movement of the bracket relative to the at least one base.

Abstract:
An overhead baggage compartment has a lowerable trough, especially for a passenger aircraft, wherein the trough is connected by two quadrilateral bellcrank type levers or links, with the side walls of the trough inside a box-like housing which is open at the bottom and also has two side walls. A substantial weight compensation is achieved by pneumatic springs, whereby each pneumatic spring (14) works on an adjustable attachment point on the corresponding quadrilateral bellcrank link through a guide roller 15. During loading of the trough 3, its weight is so determined and the pneumatic spring 14 is so swivelled by a weighing lever 13, that the guide roller 15 is placed on the corresponding quadrilateral bellcrank link at an attachment point chosen according to the determined weight. It is a special advantage that closing of the baggage compartment only requires a minimal manual force which is largely independent of the weight of the trough.
