摘要: According to the present invention, the curling or lifting of webs that occurs during the production nonwoven fabrics, and wrinkles that form on the surface of nonwoven fabrics are prevented. Also, the webs can be easily taken off without making grip stronger than necessary. The present invention pertains to an industrial fabric formed by weaving warp and weft, wherein an embossed pattern having a concavo-convex shape is formed in the vicinity of the apex of a knuckle portion exposed on the surface side of the warp and/or weft. In particular, the industrial fabric is characterized in that the warp and/or weft having the embossed pattern are plastic monofilaments.

摘要: A kind of woven cloth and a method able to integrally form a three-dimensional pattern on the woven cloth and its finished product in the present invention is to prepare a kind of woven cloth composed of lots yarns, and each yarn is made from several monofilaments, which respectively have an outer circumference coated with a thermoplastic polymer layer. After the woven cloth is hot pressed in a mold that is preformed with a three-dimensional pattern, the woven cloth will produce a corresponding three-dimensional pattern through compressing or hot melting of the thermoplastic polymer layer. Through above-mentioned method, the woven cloth can be integrally formed with a three-dimensional pattern, able to simplify manufacturing process, lower cost, increase strength and avoid disengaging and breaking apart of the woven cloth and able to be produced fully automatically.

摘要: A crepe process includes applying an adhesive composition to a nonwoven web, drying, and creping the nonwoven web on a creping drum. The improvement includes using an adhesive composition that includes an aqueous copolymer dispersion obtained by emulsion polymerization of a monomer mixture including 65 to 94.5% by weight of vinyl acetate, 5 to 30% by weight of ethylene, (meth)acrylamide, and 0.1 to 4% by weight of an N-methylol functional monomer. The N-methylol functional monomer constitutes from 25 to 85% by weight of the combined amounts of acrylamide and N-methylol functional monomer, which combined amounts constitute from 0.5 to 5% by weight of the monomer mixture. The emulsion polymerization is performed in the presence of 1 to 10% by weight of polyvinyl alcohol, based on the total weight of all monomers used for the polymerization. The adhesive composition does not include alkylphenol ethoxylates, phosphate ester surfactants, or sodium laureth sulfate.

摘要: The present invention is directed to novel, improved, modified or treated microporous membranes for use in textile related applications and which are preferably composed of two or more dissimilar porous membrane or material layers laminated together using heat, compression and/or adhesives. The preferred inventive laminated composite microporous membrane is modified using a technique or treatment such as microcreping to introduce permanent small, regularly spaced, crepes, profiles, compactions, pleats, or wrinkles into the laminated composite microporous membrane for the purpose of improving mechanical strength, elasticity and/or resiliency. In addition, the inventive microcreped microporous laminated membrane more preferably has significantly improved ‘hand’ or softness, has ‘next-to-the-skin’ softness, and/or is quiet without crinkling noises during movement, which may be desired performance properties or characteristics of or in textile garments, materials or applications.

摘要: The present invention discloses improved air embossing systems, improved air lances, and improved methods of air embossing fabrics, which are able to produce an unprecedented level of fine detail, crisp transition between unembossed and embossed regions, and a high degree of uniformity across the width of an embossed fabric, when compared to the performance of typical, conventional air embossing systems. The air embossing systems provided by the invention can utilize air lances for directing a stream of air onto the embossable surface of a fabric that have at least one nozzle having a characteristic orifice dimension substantially less than that of conventional air lance nozzles. The disclosed air embossing systems can also include air lances having nozzles positioned in close proximity to the embossable surface of a fabric being embossed, substantially closer than is typical for air lances employed in conventional air embossing systems. Air lances provided according to the invention can also include one or more nozzles having a characteristic orifice dimension that is substantially less than a characteristic length of the nozzles. Certain air lances provided according to the invention can also include one or more nozzles in the shape of an elongated slit oriented, with respect to the air lance, so as to be positioned across essentially the entire width of a fabric being embossed with the air lance. The invention also provides air lances for use for embossing fabrics that can include a nozzle-forming component that can be separable from the main body of the air lance and that enables the nozzle(s) of the air lance to be positioned within close proximity to the fabric, when the air lance is in operation, and that also can act to redirect air flowing within the air lance so that it is emitted from the nozzle(s) such that a substantial fraction of the air stream is directed essentially perpendicular to the surface of the fabric being embossed. Yet other air lances disclosed include therein one or more baffles or air redirecting elements, which serve to deflect air flowing within the air lance so that it passes through the nozzle(s) of the air lance and is directed onto the embossable surface of the fabric at an angle that is substantially greater, with respect to the longitudinal axis of the air lance, than the angle of an air stream emitted from a nozzle of an essentially equivalent air lance, except excluding the air redirecting element or baffle. Some of the air lances described according to the invention can include a combination of several or all of the above described features.
