Abstract:
An adjustable headband bow includes an elongated strap and a loop encircling the strap. The strap has a first surface and a second surface, and tapers from a first end to a central portion and gradually widens from the central portion to a second end The strap is curved with the first end and the second end positioned next to each other. The first end is slidably passed through the loop in one direction and the second end is slidably passed through the loop in an opposite direction, forming a bow on a headband. The elongated strap and the loop tighten the headband responsive to tension on the first end and the second end. The headband adjusts to fit a wide range of head sizes.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to, novelty items, more particularly candles that are placed in a candle holder that is attached to a bow. The base of the bow may include a fastener such as a sticker for attaching the bow to a lid of a coffee cup. The candle holder may be secured to the bow base using a fastener such as double-side adhesive, or a pin that protrudes through the base of the bow and the candle holder. Alternatively, the candle holder may be molded to the bow base.
Abstract:
A bow maker set with interchangeable components is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a bow making device kit includes a base assembly having a body component defining a needle mounting receptacle, a catch mounting receptacle, and fork mounting grooves. The bow making device kit could also include a needle assembly removably attachable to the needle mounting receptacle. The bow making device kit could also include a plurality of forks removably attachable to the fork mounting grooves. Each fork could have a base with a plurality of prongs extending therefrom. The plurality of forks circumscribe the needle assembly when the needle assembly and the plurality of forks are attached to the base assembly. The bow making device kit could also include a catch assembly removably attachable to the catch mounting receptacle. The catch assembly could have a plurality of fingers with movable inserts biased inwardly to contact each other.
Abstract:
A tape printing device for printing on a ribbon tape includes: a wrapping length acquisition unit which acquires a ribbon wrapping length that is a necessary length of a ribbon tape for ribbon wrapping, of a necessary tape length that is a necessary length of the ribbon tape for ribbon wrapping and ribbon tying on an object to be wrapped; a tying length storage unit in which a ribbon tying length that is a necessary length of the ribbon tape for ribbon tying, of the necessary tape length, is stored; and a necessary tape length calculation unit which calculates the necessary tape length, based on the ribbon wrapping length that is acquired and the ribbon tying length that is stored.
Abstract:
A ribbon is provided having a pull string portion extending along a first edge of the ribbon, along the length of the ribbon, the pull string portion having a series of holes therein extending longitudinally along the first edge. A petal portion extends along a second edge of the ribbon having a predefined shape. A string is positioned within the holes in the pull string portion, the string being disposed within the holes in alternating fashion between a first surface of the ribbon and an opposing surface of the ribbon. The ribbon, including the pull sting portion and the petal portion is configured to be folded in half such that opposing ends of the ribbon may be slid along the string into a bunch, forming a flower.
Abstract:
An ornament assembly includes a support plate, a plurality of support posts mounted on the support plate, a plurality of first decorative strips mounted on the support posts, a plurality of second decorative strips mounted on the support posts, a plurality of fastening members mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to fasten the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips on the support posts, and a connecting plate mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to connect the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips. Thus, the ornament assembly can be assembled and disassembled easily, quickly and conveniently.
Abstract:
The objectives of the invention are to create an attractive, yet affordable, cost effective decorative bow for any occasion; create a single bow with an option of forming it into at least three different looks achieved by different positioning of ribbon layers; create a pull bow which uses less drawstrings than previous pull bow inventions; create a decorative bow which allows even distribution of colors when two or more ribbon layers are used given that the one ribbon color per layer is used.
Abstract:
An attachment means allows for easy attachment of a decorative bow to the license plate or other metallic surface of a vehicle. The decorative bow has two horizontally disposed loops, namely a first loop and a second loop, and a center portion between the loops. The attachment means includes one or more magnets, which support the decorative bow. A first magnet is attached to the rear surface of the first loop of the decorative bow. A second magnet is attached to the rear surface of the second loop of the decorative bow. A third magnet is attached to the rear surface of the center portion of the decorative bow. The magnets are attached to the decorative bow with glue, industrial tape, or the like, or the magnets are inserted in pockets on the bow that are completely stitched, glued or heat sealed closed. Alternatively, the attachment means includes a mounting member comprising a flexible strip, which supports the decorative bow. A plug is attached to each end of the mounting member. The plug may be easily inserted into and removed from the bottom holes of a license plate on a vehicle. The plugs are attached to the mounting member by extensions, and include slits.
Abstract:
A bow-forming ribbon assembly has a decorative flexible ribbon member and a drawstring connected loosely to the ribbon at points along its length by relatively stiff retainer members. Each retainer member extends generally transversely across the ribbon member, and each is inclined with respect to the transverse direction at an angle. Each retainer member is inclined at an angle different from that of an adjacent retainer member. Decorative arms having adornments are mounted adjacent at least some of the retainer members. On forming the ribbon into a bow by pulling the drawstring relative to the ribbon member, the inclined retainer members tend to skew the adjacent loops or segments of the bow relative to one another, as well as the decorative arms so that the loops and the arms are distributed at various angles around the axis of the bow, thereby providing a bow of great visual interest.
