Abstract:
A bow maker set with interchangeable components is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a bow making device kit includes a base assembly having a body component defining a needle mounting receptacle, a catch mounting receptacle, and fork mounting grooves. The bow making device kit could also include a needle assembly removably attachable to the needle mounting receptacle. The bow making device kit could also include a plurality of forks removably attachable to the fork mounting grooves. Each fork could have a base with a plurality of prongs extending therefrom. The plurality of forks circumscribe the needle assembly when the needle assembly and the plurality of forks are attached to the base assembly. The bow making device kit could also include a catch assembly removably attachable to the catch mounting receptacle. The catch assembly could have a plurality of fingers with movable inserts biased inwardly to contact each other.
Abstract:
A tape printing device for printing on a ribbon tape includes: a wrapping length acquisition unit which acquires a ribbon wrapping length that is a necessary length of a ribbon tape for ribbon wrapping, of a necessary tape length that is a necessary length of the ribbon tape for ribbon wrapping and ribbon tying on an object to be wrapped; a tying length storage unit in which a ribbon tying length that is a necessary length of the ribbon tape for ribbon tying, of the necessary tape length, is stored; and a necessary tape length calculation unit which calculates the necessary tape length, based on the ribbon wrapping length that is acquired and the ribbon tying length that is stored.

Abstract:
An ornament assembly includes a support plate, a plurality of support posts mounted on the support plate, a plurality of first decorative strips mounted on the support posts, a plurality of second decorative strips mounted on the support posts, a plurality of fastening members mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to fasten the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips on the support posts, and a connecting plate mounted on the support posts and abutting the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips to connect the first decorative strips and the second decorative strips. Thus, the ornament assembly can be assembled and disassembled easily, quickly and conveniently.
Abstract:
A bow-forming ribbon assembly has a decorative flexible ribbon member and a drawstring connected loosely to the ribbon at points along its length by relatively stiff retainer members. Each retainer member extends generally transversely across the ribbon member, and each is inclined with respect to the transverse direction at an angle. Each retainer member is inclined at an angle different from that of an adjacent retainer member. Decorative arms having adornments are mounted adjacent at least some of the retainer members. On forming the ribbon into a bow by pulling the drawstring relative to the ribbon member, the inclined retainer members tend to skew the adjacent loops or segments of the bow relative to one another, as well as the decorative arms so that the loops and the arms are distributed at various angles around the axis of the bow, thereby providing a bow of great visual interest.

Abstract:
This ribbon (3) used in binding and decorating has the feature of comprising preferably two separate superposed flat films of polyolefin plastic which are bonded or glued together to form an intimate union, said union involving basic films differing form each other by their elastic elongaton and/or heat-shrinkage properties such that, on leaving the production equipment, said difference between said films results in a different extent of shortening between the two said films, to hence cause curving of their constituted assembly, said curving being contained within a range of elastic deformation compatible with the curvature connected with subsequent winding of the ribbon formed by said layers onto usual reels (10) by usual methods, and such as to create spontaneous curling of the ribbon (11) at the ambient temperatures at which it is used, as soon as it is unwound from said reel (10).
Abstract:
A ribbon-decoration forming tool for binding a decorative ribbon strip, which defines a plurality of loops, to form a ribbon-decoration, said ribbon-decoration forming tool including: a first flat plate provided with an engagement member, the engagement member having an enlarged portion at the outer end thereof; a second flat plate having a holding portion for holding the engagement member which allows said enlarged portion to protrude outside therefrom; a connecting member connecting said first flat plate and said second flat plate; and a binding portion for binding a ribbon strip to form a ribbon-decoration, wherein the binding portion is defined by the first and second flat plates associated with each other in the relationship such that the enlarged portion protrudes outside from the holding portion, said connecting member and said engagement member.
Abstract:
A curl bow machine manufactures curl bows. Ribbon unwinds from spools and a curling rod applies controlled tension onto the ribbon, thereby curling it. Several strands of ribbon may be curled simultaneously. The resulting curled ribbon stream passes on to a wire stitcher. The wire stitcher may take hang tags from a hang tag delivery and cutting system to attach individual hang tags to the curled ribbon stream. Alternatively, a backing material or wire tie is used instead of a hang tag. A venturi suction and discharge system may deliver the curled ribbon stream and attached hang tags to a cutter to separate individual curl bows from the ribbon stream. A second nip roller may also be used in place of the venturi suction and discharge system.
Abstract:
An attachment mechanism for a first object to be releasably attached to a second object includes a backer/stabilizer that has a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The backer/stabilizer is semi-rigid, and may be formed out of plastic, poster board, card stock, or the like. The attachment mechanism includes a first Velcronull pad that has a front side with a Velcronull surface and a back side that is adhered to a second surface of the backer/stabilizer. The attachment mechanism also includes a second Velcronull pad that has a front side with a Velcronull surface and which is configured to be releasably attached to the front side of the first Velcronull pad. The attachment mechanism further includes a second adhesive strip that has a first adhering surface for adhering to a back side of the second Velcronull pad, and a second adhering surface for adhering to a surface of the second object. The backer/stabilizer is attached to the first object by either gluing, stapling, using adhesive tape, or sewing it onto the first object.
