摘要: A self-righting unmanned vehicle, comprising: a cavity 1, located at a first side of the hull of the unmanned vehicle; a sealed cavity 2, located at a second side of the hull of the unmanned vehicle and provided, in parallel to the cavity 1, in a head region of the hull; and a first propeller 3, provided in a tail intersection region of a normal waterline A with an inversion waterline B of the unmanned vehicle, and rotating in a reverse direction when the unmanned vehicle is in an overturned state. The self-righting unmanned vehicle improves the self-righting efficiency of the unmanned vehicle.

摘要: An offshore platform lifting device for lifting operations at sea after sailed to a certain position of a sea surface includes an upper deck, a plurality of upright columns, a rail seat, a base disposed on the rail seat, two davit arms, two first winches, and two second winches. The upper deck has a lower pontoon. The upright columns are connected between to the upper deck and the lower pontoon. Each upright column is provided with a support leg that is longitudinally inserted through the upright column, thereby positioning the offshore platform lifting device on the seabed through the upright columns. The two davit arms are disposed the base and drives the base to move laterally through a pushing device. The two second winches each have a second cable passing through the two davit arms. A hook is disposed at a distal end of the second cable.

摘要: A semi-submersible support platform and a positioning method thereof are disclosed. The semi-submersible support platform, used for operations at sea after sailed to a certain position of a sea surface, includes an upper deck and a lower pontoon. The upper deck and the lower pontoon are connected by a plurality of upright columns. Each upright column is provided with a support leg that is longitudinally inserted through the upright column. The lower pontoon has a plurality of chambers for receiving water therein. The support leg has a compartment for receiving water therein. Each upright column includes a leveling mechanism therein. When the support leg sinks to reach the seabed, the leveling mechanism in each upright column is combined with the support leg to support the support leg. The leveling mechanism can drive the upper deck to move up or down along the support leg.

摘要: A pontoon boat includes first and second pontoons on the port and starboard sides of the boat and a main deck attached to the top of the pontoons. A front wave deflector extends forwards and upwards from the front of the main deck at an angle. The front wave deflector is held above the water and does not contact the water while the pontoon boat is floating in or moving through calm water. The front wave deflector contacts the tops of waves when the pontoon boat is navigating rough water and pushes the water beneath the pontoon boat deck. This allows the pontoon boat to navigate rough water without loss of momentum and without excessive up and down pitching.

摘要: A mobile, wave motion-isolated, waterborne device having a platform with a plurality of support members extending beneath the platform configured to receive an articulated joint. The device further includes a plurality of corresponding clusters of spar buoys, wherein each spar buoy has an articulated joint at a first end of the spar buoy and a ballast operably configured at the second end. The articulated joint of each spar buoy within the cluster corresponds to a swivel footing configured to receive an articulated joint. The swivel footing itself includes an articulating joint. Each articulated joint of the swivel footing corresponds to one of the support members of the platform. The cluster of spar buoys can optionally move between a vertical orientation and a horizontal orientation. An optional movable ballast may be used in place of a stationary ballast. The invention also includes optional thrust/propulsion, steering, and damping features.

摘要: A ship whereby the hull and the mechanical propulsion device are designed such that the Froude number is larger than 0.5. In the aft ship the hull has a bottom with V-shaped bottom surfaces with a deadrise angle that is less than 40 degrees and the hull has substantially vertical sides. In the hull are a passenger compartment and a trim tank. The trim tank volume is such that the weight of a filled trim tank is more than 30% of the weight of displacement of the hull with an empty trim tank, filling the trim tank with water increases the amidships immersed width with at least 10%, and the bottom surfaces have bilge keels fully immersed when the trim tank is filled with water and the bilge keels are at least in part above the water level when the trim tank is empty.
