    摘要: A foldable seat assembly for a personal transport device is described. The seat assembly includes a seat having a seat surface and a seat post attached to an underside of the seat. The seat assembly also includes a latching mechanism having a pivot mechanism, a clamp located above the pivot mechanism, a latch arm attached to the pivot mechanism at a pivot end of the latch arm, a hooked catch disposed at a catch end of the latch arm opposite the pivot end, and a catch receiver associated with the underside of the seat. The catch receiver engages with the hooked catch of the latch arm. When the clamp is in a locked position, the hooked catch exerts a downward clamping force on the catch receiver to secure the seat in a riding configuration so that the seat surface has a horizontal orientation.

An upper portion of the seat post is movable relative to the frame between a first position and a second position. The damping member couples the seat post to the frame to dampen movement of the upper portion of the seat post. The damping member can be positioned at least partially in a top tube of the frame. Preferably, the seat post flexes when the upper portion of the seat post moves. The frame further includes a securing location for securing the seat post, and the securing location is a distance from the upper end of the seat tube that is at least 30% of a length of a seat tube. The seat post has a front-to-rear width, and the seat tube has a rear wall spaced from the seat post by a gap that is at least 25% of a front-to-rear width of the seat post.

    摘要: An inner tube moves axially between an outer tube and a support, all of which are concentrically arranged, to a desired telescopic position, relative to the outer tube and the support, and can be locked in the desired telescopic position by applying radial force between the support and the inner surface of the inner tube. The radial force generates a frictional force acting on the inner surface of the inner tube, which resists longitudinal movement of the inner tube. A bicycle actuator cable is coupled to an actuation connector for a tension-controlled actuator by a bicycle cable connector which has a fixed longitudinal position on the bicycle actuator cable. The bicycle cable connector is longitudinally consistently removably repeatably interengageable with the actuation connector to maintain longitudinal alignment of the bicycle actuator cable with the actuator through repeated engagement and disengagement of the bicycle cable connector and the actuation connector.
