Abstract: The disclosure provides a rack system for securing articles. The rack system can include a longitudinal elongate rail traversing a longitudinal direction, and a lateral rail adjustably mounted to the elongate rail. The lateral rail can be orthogonally oriented (or obliquely oriented) with respect to the longitudinal elongate rail. The lateral rail can be configured to be mounted at a plurality of longitudinal positions along the longitudinal rail. The rack can further include one or more upwardly extending brackets that are adjustably mounted to the lateral rail. The upwardly extending bracket(s) can be mounted at one or more lateral positions along the lateral rail. The lateral rail and the upwardly extending bracket(s) cooperate to form a concavity for at least partially surrounding a portion of an article to hold the article in position when mounted to the system.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the field of trailers. More specifically, the present invention relates to a paddleboard trailer device that is comprised of a top surface further comprised of at least one board receiving structure, at least one cooler box, at least one main storage box, and a rear surface with at least one internal compartment. The base of the device further preferably resembles a utility trailer and is durable and rigid such that it can support the weight of multiple paddleboards or surfboards and other heavy objects. The device is also comprised of a board receiving structure that securely and efficiently organizes the boards to prevent damage and enhance accessibility. In this manner, the device can be attached to any vehicle with a trailer hitch, such that a large group of people can easily travel to a water location in a minimal number of vehicles.

Abstract: A rack is described for securing equipment, such as a kayak, to a vehicle. The rack has a base member for attaching to the vehicle, a support member pivotally attached to the base member, and an actuator that is operable to engage or disengage a latch mechanism that fixes the movement of the support member in one or more desired positions in relation to the base member. The actuator may be actuated from either side of the base. The actuator may extend transversely across the lengthwise axis of the base member. The opposite ends of the actuator may each be displaced toward one end of the base to release the support member and allow it to pivot with respect to the base member.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a water vessel transport rack device primarily comprised of a frame that is further comprised of a front primary frame end, a rear primary frame end, a front secondary frame end and a rear secondary frame end. The front primary frame end and the rear primary frame end are identical in structure. Further, the front secondary frame end and the rear secondary frame end are identical in structure. The primary and secondary frame ends connect to one another, such that they form a plurality of surfaces that can be used to store a plurality of water vessels. Further, the device can be easily placed and secured within the bed of a pickup truck to allow a user to transport multiple water vessels while only using a single pickup.
