摘要: A vehicle has an automatically tiltable seat, a plurality of seat actuators fully supporting the automatically-tiltable seat to enable the automatically tiltable seat to pitch or roll to compensate for motion of the vehicle, and a processor to predict the motion of the vehicle and to control the plurality of seat actuators. The plurality of seat actuators automatically adjusts the pitch or roll of the automatically tiltable seat in response to the motion of the vehicle. The seat actuators also provide shock absorption.

The lower leg support is directly and rotatably coupled to the seat proximate the forward end. The lower leg support is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The vehicle seating assembly is movable between a seated position and a reclined-and-raised position. Moving from the seated position toward the reclined-and-raised position includes increasing a first distance between the front leg and the support surface.

摘要: An adjustable vehicle seat transitions from a base position to an elevated position to a highly reclined zero-gravity position. A single motor controls movement through these three positions. Between the base position and the elevated position, an orientation of the vehicle seat changes very little. An eccentric gearing mechanism is proposed to move the seat between the three positions. In one embodiment, a compensator absorbs the planetary motion of the eccentric gearing mechanism such that motion is smoother.

摘要: A device for reducing kinetosis-related disorders of an occupant of a vehicle includes a vehicle seat with a headrest. A seat belt is assigned to the vehicle seat which is configured to increase a connection of the occupant to the vehicle seat before an onset of an acceleration. An actuator system is coupled to the headrest which is configured to move the headrest automatically, at least in sections, counter to an expected direction of an acceleration of a head of the occupant before the onset of the acceleration. The seat belt is tightenable by a reversible belt tensioner before the onset of the acceleration.

The seat rib cage may also have a plurality of vehicle structure mounting points for mounting the seat rib cage to the vehicle structure.
