摘要: Provided are a battery controller, a wireless battery control system, a battery pack and a battery balancing method. The battery controller is for a battery module comprising a positive terminal, a negative terminal and a plurality of battery cells electrically connected in series between the positive terminal and the negative terminal. The battery controller comprises a voltage measuring unit to generate a voltage signal indicating a cell voltage of each of the plurality of battery cells, and a control module. The control module wirelessly transmits sensing data indicating the cell voltage of each of the plurality of battery cells while the control module is operating using a first cell voltage of a bottommost cell of the plurality of battery cells as power for operating the control module.

摘要: An electric vehicle includes a reconfigurable energy storage system with a first submodule and a second submodule. An interface circuit is operable to transfer a charging power to the reconfigurable energy storage system from a charging station that is external to the electric vehicle. A switching circuit is operable to electrically arrange the first submodule and the second submodule in series or in parallel. A diode is operable to convey the charging power between the first submodule and the second submodule while the reconfigurable energy storage system is arranged in series and the charging power is present. A bias circuit is operable to maintain a reverse bias across the diode while the reconfigurable energy storage system is arranged in series and the charging power is absent.

摘要: The control unit includes: when an absolute value of a difference between a full charge capacity of a 1 cell and a full charge capacity of a 2 cell is equal to or larger than a 1 threshold value, equalization is performed so that an absolute value of a difference between a charge rate of a 1 cell and a charge rate of a 2 cell at the time of full charge is less than a 2 threshold value, and when an absolute value of a difference between a voltage of a 1 cell and a voltage of a 2 cell is equal to or larger than a 3 threshold value, equalization is performed so that an absolute value of a difference between a voltage of a 1 cell and a voltage of a 2 cell becomes less than a 3 threshold value.

The method further comprises determining, using a vehicle control unit, a target integrated voltage to be supplied to a power electric unit, and transmitting, using the vehicle control unit, a voltage command corresponding to a target output voltage to the DC converter, according to a determined target integrated voltage.

The method includes detecting a state of charge (SOC) of each of the plurality of battery packs, calculating a voltage difference between the plurality of battery packs based on the detected SOC, and performing battery pack balancing based on the calculated voltage difference exceeding a threshold value. The battery pack balancing is performed by a pre-charging circuit including a balancing relay.

摘要: An electrical energy storage device is constituted by connecting together a plurality of battery cells. Each of the battery cells includes a transformer forming unit constituted by a first inductor, a second inductor, a first core member, and a second core member, and which is capable of forming a transformer between itself and an adjacent battery cell, and a potential detection unit that detects the potential of the battery cell. A control unit compares the potentials of the adjacent battery cells based on measurement results of a potential detection unit. Furthermore, the control unit performs an equalization control to equalize the potentials of the plurality of battery cells, by supplying electrical charge from the battery cell having a higher potential to the battery cell having a lower potential.

摘要: A method is provided for controlling a battery unit of a motor vehicle. The battery unit is configured to provide electrical energy to an electric drivetrain (M) of the motor vehicle, and the electric drivetrain (M) is configured to drive the motor vehicle. The battery unit has a plurality of battery modules (U1, U2, UN, V1, V2, VN, W1, W2; WN). The method comprises: monitoring whether the battery unit is in a powered-off state; measuring a period of time during which the battery unit is in the powered-off state; and transitioning the battery unit from the powered-off state into a powered-on state when the period of time exceeds a time threshold. The battery modules (U1, U2, UN, V1, V2, VN, W1, W2; WN) are connected electrically in parallel to one another in the powered-on state.
