Abstract: A textured window film has a prismatic effect that allows a substantial amount of incoming light to pass through a window while refracting the light at random or semi-random angles in a manner that distorts viewed images. The result is a window film that is brighter and more vibrant while also providing visual privacy. The textured window film can therefore better simulate real textured and colored glass.

Abstract: A method for producing a decorative surface on a workpiece (1) is disclosed, the method comprising the following steps:
- feeding (S10) of the workpiece (1) coated with a liquid layer (2) to a digital printing station;
- application (S12) of an agent capable of at least partially absorbing electromagnetic radiation, at least on a partial area of the surface of the liquid layer (2), or which, in contact with the surface, produces a reaction product which is capable of at least partially absorbing electromagnetic radiation;
- irradiation (S14) of the surface of the liquid layer (2) and of the agent with electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength of less than 300 nm, preferably less than 250 nm, particularly preferably less than 200 nm.
Furthermore, an apparatus (1) for carrying out this method is disclosed.-

A functional layer overlies the carrier layer, and the functional layer includes at least one microcut inorganic layer. The microcut inorganic layer includes a pattern of cut toolmarks and plates bounded by the toolmarks, wherein each of the plates has a thickness of about 3 nanometers to about 2000 nanometers. The transfer article has a thickness of less than 3 micrometers.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an ornamental laminate film made from at least an inside film and an outside film, provided with a letter and/or a pattern by printing and as a raised part protruding toward the outside film. At least apart of the letter and/or the pattern has a metallic luster and differs in at least one of hue, brightness, chroma and glossiness from a region other than the letter and/or the pattern, and the raised part is formed along at least a part of the letter and/or the pattern. Abstract: A transfer sheet is configured to include a base sheet; a releasable layer laminated on the base sheet, containing an ultraviolet curing resin, and including minute irregularities on at least part of a surface opposite to a surface in contact with the base sheet; a peeling layer laminated entirely on the releasable layer; and a single color solid print layer laminated in a section on the peeling layer corresponding at least to a region where the minute irregularities of the releasable layer are formed. A maximum width W of a recessed portion of the minute irregularities and a depth D of the recessed portion of the minute irregularities satisfy 10≤W/D≤50, W≤100 μm and 2 μm≤D≤10 μm. At least one of the number of recessed portions per unit area and the depth of the recessed portion changes stepwise.
