The system includes measures for carefully controlling the heat of the reclaimed asphalt pavement as it is dried, including controls for adjusting the distance between the infrared chambers and the conveyor belt, controls for turning each individual infrared chamber on and off, and controls for adjusting the rate of the conveyor belt and the rotary mixers.

摘要： A system and a process is provided for reducing the dust formation during the transfer of a particulate material on an endless conveyor belt. During transfer of the material on the conveyor belt the material is first sprayed with a wetting agent then by application of a plow the moving material is lifted from the bottom of the belt and is diverted towards the side edges of the belt thus creating additional exposed surfaces. The material is then again sprayed then contacted with baffles to redirect the material from the side edges towards the center of the belt thus creating additional exposed surfaces which are then again sprayed with a wetting agent to substantially eliminate dusting. The plow and baffle combination can also be used for uniformly mixing two or more particulate materials on a moving belt.

摘要： A mobile concrete mixer comprising an elongated wheeled frame adapted to be connected at its forward end to a prime mover such as a truck or the like to enable the mixer to be moved from one location to another. An elongated conveyor support is pivotally mounted on the wheeled frame and has a hydraulic cylinder operatively secured thereto to enable the rearward end thereof to be raised to the desired dicharge height. A conveyor belt is movably mounted on a conveyor suport and has an elongated concrete mixer hopper positioned thereover. The lower end of the concrete mixer hopper is open to provide communication between the interior of the hopper and the upper portion of the conveyor belt. A plurality of vertically disposed shafts are rotatably positioned within the mixing hopper and have helical conveyor-like portions mounted on the lower ends thereof and laterally extending mixing paddles positioned thereabove. The rotation of the mixing devices elevates and mixes the aggregate materials in the hopper.

摘要： Pulverulent or other bulk material is conveyed in a continuous stream on a belt conveyor, the stream comprising a plurality of substreams of different compositions which are deposited by hoppers onto the conveyor belt. A frame straddles the conveyor belt downstream from the hoppers and carries a plurality of fixed plow assemblies which depend from the frame at locations spaced apart laterally and longitudinally of the conveyor belt, each plow assembly having a plow blade which extends into the stream of pulverulent material. The blades are variously oriented, each blade displacing the engaged portion of the stream both vertically and laterally of the conveyor belt to mix together the compositions of the substreams.
