In another embodiment, a method may include determining a spray pattern for creating a printable structure at a computer control system, and implementing, on the computer control system, the spray pattern to create the printable structure, including rotating an arched truss system supporting an adjustable spray printer, adjusting a position of the spray printer on the arched truss system, and activating the spray printer to execute the determined spray pattern.

    摘要: A concrete vibrator head includes an elongated body having a front end and a back end. The back end of the vibrator head is attached to a rotating shaft which causes the vibrator head to vibrate at a desired vibration frequency. The elongated body is tapered from the front end to approximately halfway towards the back end. This taper may be defined by a continuous straight line slope of the outer surface of the elongated body, or a stepped slope formed from a series of interconnected cylindrical portions of the elongated body which increase in diameter from the front end to approximately midway on the elongated body of the vibrator head.

    摘要: A mold having slide is disclosed, including an upper mold plate, a lower mold plate mating with the upper mold plate, a slanted guide post, a slide, and a locating mechanism. The slanted guide post is mounted on the upper mold plate. The slide and the locating mechanism are both mounted on the lower mold plate. The locating mechanism has a locating stop. The locating stop is fixed to the lower mold plate. The locating stop has a pull rod movably mounted thereto with one end of the pull rod fixed to the slide. A compression spring is located between an opposite end of the pull rod and the locating stop. The mold can effectively prevent the slide from undesired move-back and thus being incorrectly positioned so as to eliminate the potential risk of damage of the mold by the slanted guide post.

    摘要: Vibrational energy is introduced into a portion of a liquid-solid work mixture at a natural resonant frequency of that portion of the mixture while that portion of the mixture is in a fluid or semi-fluid state. A vibrating apparatus imparts controlled vibrations either onto the surface or beneath the surface of the liquid-solid work mixture in sequential stages, the frequency of vibrations generally increasing with each subsequent stage, corresponding to an increase in the natural resonant frequency of the progressively-narrowing liquid portion at the top of the liquid-solid work mixture. A resonant frequency-indicative condition of the liquid portion of the work mixture adjacent the vibrator apparatus is sensed as the vibrator apparatus moves across the top surface of the liquid-solid mixture, and the output frequency of the vibrating apparatus is correspondingly adjusted in accordance with the sensed condition as the vibrator apparatus travels. The controlled vibrations drive the liquid component of the liquid-solid mixture upwardly out of the mixture, thereby advantageously expediting the rate of consolidation, stiffening, and/or drying of the lower (solid) portion of the mixture, and advantageously filtering, decanting, and/or otherwise isolating the constituent ingredients of the mixture.

The slide-casting mould (33) comprises a bottom plane (34), side walls (38, 39) of the mould, as well as means (37) for pressurizing the casting mix mechanically. According to the invention, before the parallel side walls (44, 54) at the outlet end of the slide-casting mould (33), within the casting line concerned, walls or wall portions (40 to 43, 50 to 53) are provided as fitted to each other or to their corresponding portions, provided as pairs, as pivotable always in the same direction around substantially vertical shafts (45 to 49, 55 to 59) included in their planes. The moving parts of the side walls (38, 39) may be displaced in pairs in the lateral direction, relative the casting direction, e.g., by means of cylinder-piston devices (61 to 63). Thereat, repeated parallel dislocations back and forth are produced in the various regional zones of the mechanically pressurized high-viscosity casting mix (35) present in the slide-casting mould (33), and in particular in parallel dislocation planes of casting mix (35) in the mould (33), placed perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the casting base.

    摘要: There is disclosed a fluid-operated vibrator mounted in a housing at the end of a stem serving as a handle. The stem is formed in two tubular sections spaced apart and joined by a flexible coupling capable of bending under the vibrational action of the vibrator. A slidable sleeve is adapted to be moved alongside the stem sections to reinforce the stem against bending at the coupling so that the vibrator housing may be thrust into wet concrete or granular material by hammering on an anvil at the top of the sleeve. To restore the flexibility characteristic of the coupling, the sleeve is withdrawn from the lower stem section, thereby permitting bending at the coupling under action of the vibrator.
