摘要： The invention concerns a grinding machine having displaceable grinding means for the processing of workpieces made from wood, wood composite materials, plastics, metals and similar materials. The invention further concerns a method of grinding a workpiece by means of the inventive grinding machine. The grinding aggregate comprises: at least one translational driving means configured to translate the grinding means (6) and at least one eccentric tappet configured to rotatingly move the grinding means (6). The inventive device is characterized in that the grinding aggregate comprises a suctioning device which suctions waste products of the processing, such as chips, through the grinding means. In this way, it is possible to achieve a qualitatively superior grinding result.

摘要： An endless abrasive belt sanding machine in which the sanding or abrading head is vertically oriented and provided with an improved dust collecting system having a suction duct connected with a source of suction and a mouth located in a closed zone partially defined by the portion of the abrasive belt leaving work performing engagement with the workpiece, and into which zone air can enter only through an air supply duct that overlies the upwardly traveling stretch of the abrasive belt and has its inlet defined by a curved hood embracing the belt tensioning roll at the top of the abrading head, and has its discharge arranged to cause the air debouching therefrom to forcibly impinge the surface of the abrasive belt directly above the mouth of the suction duct. A movable wall separates the discharge end of the air supply duct from the mouth of the suction duct and serves as a damper that can be closed to prevent entry into the suction duct of extraneous matter capable of igniting the contents of the separator and dust collecting bags to which the dust and products of abrasion are delivered when the machine is operating normally.

摘要： Improved residue removal ductwork incorporated with a flexible belt abrading machine, such as a belt sander. The ductwork defines an elongate ductwork extending from adjacent the machine''s material removal zone to a remote collection site. The duct includes a duct expanse and other duct wall structure which extends along and substantially surrounds the machine''s abrasive belt over a substantial portion of a reach thereof, thereby providing increased exposure of the belt''s surface to air flow for improved residue removal and longer belt life. In a preferred embodiment, the ductwork includes a plurality of air inlet openings disposed at several locations about the travel path of the belt.

摘要： A dust collection device for a sanding machine includes a casing located at the lower end of the upright sanding belt and the casing includes a bottom hole which communicates with the open top of the dust collection part. The dust collection part communicates with an exterior collection area defined within an outer cover. A fan unit an a separation plate are located within the outer cover, so that dust during operation of the sanding belt can be collected into the exterior collection area and brought out via an escape pipe connected to the outer cover. A sanding wheel is located beside the separation plate and a housing is mounted to the sanding wheel. The housing includes a restriction plate so as to guide dust during operation of the sanding wheel into the escape pipe. The sanding belt, the fan unit and the sanding wheel share a common axle.
