    摘要： A roller shade cutting machine includes a base, a track assembly, a shade holder, a slat cutting device and a shade cutting device. The track assembly is mounted the base and includes a stationary track and an adjustable track with a ruler slidably mounted on the stationary track. The shade holder is mounted on the stationary track and has a rotating chuck to clamp a roller of the roller shade. The shade cutting device is mounted on the stationary track below the shade holder to cut the spinning roller. The slat cutting device is mounted on the stationary track and has a rolling cutter that is swiftly turned to cut a slat of the roller shade. Therefore, the cutting machine can be used to cut not only the roller but also the slat of the roller shade so that the machine is convenient to use.

A removable container having a longitudinal groove formed by inwardly disposed wall members is press fitted into the housing. A needle from a hypodermic syringe is placed in the longitudinal groove and pressed into the interior of the container in such a manner that the needle remains inside the container after it is cut from the hypodermic syringe.

    摘要： Apparatus for cutting a conduit or tubular element transversely to the longitudinal axis thereof which includes a base having a housing projecting vertically therefrom. The housing includes opposed, substantially parallel side plates separated by a vertical slot at their upper ends, and by a mechanism chamber at their lower ends. A blade element is pivotally supported between the parallel side plates, and carries a plurality of ratchet teeth along the lower peripheral edge and a cutting edge disposed at the opposite side of the blade element from the ratchet teeth. Between the teeth and cutting edge, the knife element has an elongated, arcuate slot formed therethrough. An operating handle is pivotally connected to the housing at a side thereof spaced from the pivotal axis of the blade element. A pawl lever is pivotally connected to the operating handle and has a dog thereon positioned to ride over and operatively engage the ratchet teeth as the operating handle is pivoted. An elongated indexing link is pivotally connected at one end to the pawl lever and carries a stud at its other end which rides in the arcuate slot in the blade element. A conduit supporting jaw is mounted at the upper side of the housing, and defines an arcuate recess dimensioned to support a conduit to be cut by the apparatus.

    摘要： The cutter consists essentially of an upright supporting frame having a pair of fixed shear blades attached one to each side of the bottom of the frame and extending horizontally therefrom in spaced parallel relation in a plane below the upper portion of the frame which upper portion curves outwardly and horizontally. A pair of supporting plates mounted loosely one on each side of the frame support carry an upper shear blade for coaction with the fixed blades. A linkage means pivotally connects the supporting plates to the support frame and to an actuating handle in such a manner that the upper shear blade moves in a path in a plane from the upper portion of the support frame to a point between the fixed shear blades at a constant angle relative to the surface of the siding when the handle is manipulated. The upper surfaces of the fixed shear blades are formed with fixed stop members. Interchangeable auxiliary fixed blades and stop members are provided to hold and shear a length of siding. The portion of the upstanding frame immediately adjacent to and immediately above the ends of the fixed shear blades attached to the frame is formed with a thickness less than the distance between the fixed shear blades so that the cutter is, in effect, a throatless cutter for the purpose of facilitating making long cuts in siding.
