摘要： A device for cutting and bending a hollow elongate tube. A measuring subassembly is adapted for measuring a desired size of the tube. A cutting subassembly is adapted for cutting the tube to the desired size. A bending subassembly is adapted for bending the cut tube to a desired angular orientation. The bending subassembly includes a base controlling a radius of a bend to be formed in the cut hollow elongate tube, and a user grippable handle. The user grippable handle is configured to enable a user to rotate the cut hollow elongate tube, relative to the round base, to form the bend in the cut hollow elongate tube.

摘要： A cutter includes a blade, a handle, a holder, a pivot and a pin. The blade includes an aperture and a slit. The handle includes two lateral plates each of which includes an aperture and a recess. The holder includes a block formed between two lateral plates. The block is inserted in the slit when the blade is inserted in the holder. Each of the lateral plates of the holder includes a rear aperture and a front aperture. The pivot is selectively inserted in the apertures of the handle, the front apertures of the holder and the aperture of the blade to keep the holder in the handle. The pin is selectively inserted in the recesses of the handle and the rear apertures of the holder to keep the holder in a desired angle relative to the handle.

摘要： Cutting devices and associated methods are described. In one aspect, a cutting device includes an annular support body defining an axial space into which a pipe to be cut can be inserted, the body formed of a rigid material and including a blade-bearing portion and a non-blade-bearing portion, wherein the blade-bearing portion is secured to the non-blade-bearing portion by a hinge mechanism allowing the two portions to be movable between an open position in which a pipe can be inserted, and a closed position in which the pipe is engaged by the body, wherein a part of the blade-bearing portion spaced from the hinge mechanism includes a blade that protrudes radially inwards of the body, such that in use the urging of the two portions towards the closed position urges the pipe against the blade so that rotation of the cutting device around the pipe cuts the pipe.

摘要： A power tool includes a housing assembly, a motor, a pipe holder, and a knife pivotally coupled to the pipe holder at a pivot point for movement relative to the pipe holder. The knife is operable to pivot through an angle toward the pipe holder during a cutting motion and is operable to pivot through the angle away from the pipe holder during a return motion. The power tool also includes a drive mechanism having a first gear coupled to the motor and a second gear coupled to the knife. The power tool further includes a release mechanism coupled to the drive mechanism. The release mechanism is operable to selectively disconnect the second gear from the knife so that movement of the motor is not transmitted to the knife and the knife is movable through the angle away from the pipe holder.

摘要： An active pipe cutoff valve installation assembly includes a conduit having an top section mating with a bottom section forming the conduit having first and second open ends. Medial seals are positioned in the conduit abutting a pipe extending through the conduit and defining a sealed chamber corresponding to a medial section of the conduit. A valve is coupled to the conduit having an gate extendable into the medial section the conduit whereby flow through the conduit is cut off. A wire extends into and through the medial section of the conduit. The wire cuts the pipe while the pipe is positioned in the sealed chamber. The wire is aligned with the gate of the valve so the gate cuts off flow through the pipe.

摘要： A cutting tool for a pipe of specific diameter comprises a generally cylindrical body 1 defining a central bore 10 extending along an axis. The body is divided into two axially spaced half portions 2A and 2B which together clamp a cutting blade 8 projecting into the bore 10. The body has a progressively narrowing slot 12 extending from its outer circumference to the bore. At the bore 10 the width of the slot 12 is narrower than the diameter of the bore. One side of the slot 12 is flexibly resilient to flex away when a pipe of diameter equal to the bore is pushed along the slot into the bore and to resile when the pipe has entered the bore, urging the pipe against the blade so that subsequent relative rotation between the tool and pipe will cause the pipe to be severed.
