摘要: When molding surfaces (50A) of a pair of dies (50) are to be cleaned by air-blowing, air is blown towards the molding surfaces (50A) from blowing nozzles (22A) of a cleaning blowing function portion (22) while a moving body (16) is reciprocatingly moved by driving force of a driving mechanism (18). When a parting agent is to be applied to the molding surfaces (50A) of the pair of dies (50), the mold release agent is jetted out towards the molding surfaces (50A) from spraying nozzles (24A) of a parting agent application function portion (24) while the moving body (16) is reciprocatingly moved by the driving force of the driving mechanism (18). In both of these situations, at the same time as the treatment of the molding surfaces (50A), a cleaning brush (32) reciprocatingly moves together with the moving body (16) and sweeps a device floor surface (12).

摘要: The present invention relates to a process of forming copper anodes (6) in a casting wheel (I) from the stage in which the copper is in liquid molten state (5) in a dumping chute (3) and is transferred to a ladle (4) until the anode (6) of solid copper is transformed into an anode (6) and is discharged from a mold (2) located in said casting wheel (I) wherein said process prevents the liquid molten copper (5) from being adhered to the edge of the ladle (4) and in the interstice (14) generated between the surfaces of the ejector rod (13) and the passing through bore (12) located on the mold (2) comprising the stages of: pouring the molten liquid copper from a distributing dumping chute (3) towards a ladle (4); (b) connecting the metallic components of the ladle (4) to the ground in order to produce positive charge (17); (c) spraying towards the edge (lip) of the ladle (4) an air jet (19) with dry dusting release agent (20) which is expelled by a nozzle (21) charging the particles of said dry dusting (20) with high voltage and negative charge the particles of said dry dusting release agent (20) with high voltage and negative charge (18); (f) pouring the molten liquid copper (5) from the ladle (4) towards the cavity (II) of a mold (2) of anodes; (g) waiting until the copper gets cold in order to form the anode (6) by means of the turn of the casting wheel (I); (h) driving the ejector rod (13) to expel the anode (6) from the cavity (II) of the mold (2); and (i) removing the anode (6) from the mold (2) by means of cranes. The nozzle (21) is moved over the ladle zone (4) and mold zone (2) by means of a robotic arm (22) which is mounted on a cart (24) suspended above the casting wheel (I).(18); (b) connecting the metallic components of the mold (2) to the ground in order to produce a positive charge (17); (e) spraying towards the cavity (II) of the mold (2) and towards the location zone of the ejector rod (13) dry dusting release agent (20) through an air jet (19) which passes through a nozzle (21) which charges the particles of said dry dusting release agent (20) with high voltage and negative charge (18); (f) pouring the molten liquid copper (5) from the ladle (4) towards the cavity (II) of a mold (2) of anodes; (g) waiting until the copper gets cold in order to form the anode (6) by means of the turn of the casting wheel (I); (h) driving the ejector rod (13) to expel the anode (6) from the cavity (II) of the mold (2); and (i) removing the anode (6) from the mold (2) by means of cranes. 摘要: A method of application of finning preventive agent in an apparatus for casting anodes for electrolyzing copper by pouring molten copper into the molds, in which the inner planes of the molds can be coated with the finning preventive agent in a reliable and efficient manner, is provided. Before pouring molten copper into the molds, silicon oil is automatically applied to the inner planes 2a.sub.1 to 2a.sub.10 of the molds M dividedly in three applications by industrial robots 24, 25 of a vertical multi-articulate type having brushes 30. An amount of silicon oil consumed is 4 to 10 cc for one mold.

摘要: In a molding system a box has a pair of oppositely open ends has inner side faces and respective mold plates are engageable in the open ends to close same and have faces defining with the inner side faces a mold cavity. Sand is introduced into the cavity between the faces and is compressed in the cavity to form a mold part. An aerosol mist under superatmospheric pressure and comprised of air and finely divided droplets of a coating liquid is sprayed into the mold cavity when same is closed by the mold plates but before the sand is introduced into the cavity so that the droplets settle on the faces and coat same with the liquid.

摘要: In a mold-pressing machine with liquid-mist injection, using atomizing nozzles (9) with a vortex chamber (27) delivering atomized liquid mixed with air through outlet apertures (26), compressed air constantly being supplied to the atomizing-air nozzle (29), while the liquid nozzle (28) receives liquid under pressure through a liquid conduit (19,25), a liquid duct (31) and a slave valve (32,33) controlled by the liquid pressure solely in those periods, during which the liquid mist is desired to be injected, the new feature is that the liquid conduit (19,25) comprises a fast-acting air-escape valve (13), possibly of the same kind as those being used with pneumatic cylinders, causing any air having penetrated into the liquid duct (31) during the rest intervals because of a leak in the slave valve (32,33) to flow to an escape conduit (21). With this arrangement, the formation of air pockets in the liquid conduit is prevented: such air pockets would otherwise reduce the quantity of the liquid being supplied to the liquid nozzle (28) during each succeeding cycle.

摘要: An expendable substrate which in use contacts molten metal, for example a foundry mould or core or ladle lining, is coated with a coherent layer of refractory particles by tribo-electrically charging refractory particles coated with an organic binder, the coated particles having an electrical resistivity of at least 10.sup.10 ohm. cm. at 10kv, earthing the substate and bringing the charged particles into contact with the earthed substrate. Suitable binders are thermoplastic resins, thermosetting resins and waxes and the quantity of binder in the binder coated particles is usually less than 10% by weight.
