摘要: A rebar tying robot disclosed herein may be configured to perform a rebar tying operation in which the rebar tying robot performs alternately and repeatedly an operation of moving over a primary rebar and a secondary rebar and an operation of tying the primary rebar and the plurality of secondary rebar together at points where the primary rebar and the plurality of secondary rebar intersect. The rebar tying robot may include a control unit, a longitudinal movement mechanism, a lateral movement mechanism, and a positional information detection mechanism configured to detect a current position of the rebar tying robot. The control unit may be configured to execute a return process in which the control unit control the rebar tying robot to move from the current position of the rebar tying robot to a specific position without performing the rebar tying operation.

Spring unit manufacturing apparatus comprises a plurality of jaw pairs each comprising a first fixed jaw and a pivotal second jaw, the pivotal second jaw being pivoted by a cam and linkage assembly operated by a rotary drive shaft.

摘要: Apparatus and methods for filament crimping. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises a body and a filament crimp element. The filament crimp element comprises a first set of cavities disposed at a spacing which creates a first set of features and a second set of cavities disposed at a spacing which creates a second set of features. The first and second set cavities are substantially opposite one another. The first set of features are adapted to be placed at least partially within the second set of cavities and the second set of features are adapted to be placed at least partially within the first set of cavities. Methods and apparatus for the manufacture of the device are also disclosed. In addition, methods for automated placement and manufacture of assemblies using the crimp elements are also disclosed.

摘要: An instrument for debonding an orthodontic bracket from a tooth surface includes first and second plier portions coupled for relative pivotal movement. A lever arm pivotally movable relative to the first and second plier portions has a tooth engaging member on a first end. In one embodiment, the tooth engaging member is positioned on the lever arm for movement between a jaw of the plier portions and the tooth surface when a second end of the lever arm is pivotally manipulated in a direction toward a handle of the plier portions. In another embodiment, at least part of at least one plier portion is flexible relative to the lever arm such that the lever arm moves the tooth engaging member relative to a jaw of the plier portions after the bracket engaging portions are engaged with the orthodontic bracket and the handles and lever arm pivotally manipulated toward one another.

摘要: A guide wire includes a wire member having a first wire disposed on the distal side of the guide wire, and a second wire disposed on the proximal side from the first wire. The second wire is made from a material having an elastic modulus larger than that of the first wire. For example, the first wire is made from a superelastic alloy, and the second wire is made from a stainless steel. The first wire is joined to the second wire at a welded portion by welding. A coil is disposed on the distal side from the first wire. A cover layer is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the wire member in such a manner as to cover at least the welded portion. The cover layer is made from a material capable of reducing the friction of the cover layer, for example, a fluorocarbon resin or a hydrophilic material, to there by improve the sliding performance of the guide wire. Such a guide wire is excellent in operationality and kink resistance.

摘要: A brake mechanism of a wire reel arranged in a reinforcing bar binding machine in which a binding wire 3 is fed from a wire reel 2, wound round reinforcing bars 7, and twisted by a twisting hook 8 so that the reinforcing bars can be bound with the binding wire, comprises the steps of: a brake means 11; and a brake lever 12 for operating the brake means 11, wherein the brake lever 12 is linked with a motor 9 for driving the twisting hook 8, the brake means 11 is operated by the brake lever 12 when the twisting motor 9 is normally rotated so that the brake means 11 is engaged with the circumferential edge portion of the wire reel 2 so as to apply the brake to the wire reel 2, and the brake lever 12 and the brake means 11 are reversely operated when the twisting motor 9 is reversed so that the braking operation can be released.

摘要: A cutter for use in stripping ends of a circular-section conductors insulated with silicon-rubber type material that heat will deteriorate so that a heat stripping is precluded, provides a vehicle that is manually moved across a table top with a length of the insulated conductor to be stripped rolled along the table top in the rolling embrace of a plurality of rollers of the vehicle, guiding and forcing it down while a blade bears down on the insulation at a position offset from the conductor that is insulated. Different roller-lengths protect against slippage of the insulated conductor. Adjustment for various sizes of insulated wire and cable is provided also in different versions of the invention.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and apparatus for producing an insulated joint between electrical conductors, particularly between cables insulated by cross-linked polyethylene material. Heat is applied to joined parts of the conductors which have been covered by a cross-linked polyethylene material in uncured condition and closely confined within an enclosure which is heated until the said material is cured, pressure being applied to the joint while the joint is cooling, whereby voids in the cured joint are substantially suppressed. More specifically, parts of cable cores are connected together, the joint and adjacent portions of the cables are covered with the uncured material, the covered joint is heated within a mould until the material is cured, and pressure is applied to the joint while it is cooling. Advantageously, the uncured material is in the form of a tape.The mould cavity for the joint may be defined by two mould parts and the pressure applied by moving one of them in relation to the other. Alternatively the pressure may be applied by pistons slidable in cylinders communicating with the cavity. In either case the pressure may be applied through spring means.

摘要: A guide wire includes a wire body having a first wire disposed at a distal end and a second wire joined to a proximal end of the first wire at a joint by welding. The joint is curved. In the joint, at least one component (e.g., Ti) of the material of the first wire decreases toward the proximal end and at least one component (e.g., Fe) of the material of the second wire decreases toward the distal end. When a tensile test is conducted on a region of the wire body including the joint, the region of the wire body has, in a tensile load and elongation diagram, an elastic section extending substantially straight upwardly to the right, a yield section extending substantially horizontally or upwardly to the right from the elastic section, and a substantially straight section extending upwardly to the right from the yield section.
