Abstract:
An air duster duct is formed to branch off at an intermediate portion along the length of an air duct which connects a compressed air supply source with a pneumatic tool. A valve mechanism having a selector valve and an operating device is provided at the branch portion. The sector valve can shift to a first position where the selector valve opens an upstream side duct which communicates with the air supply source to a downstream side duct which communicates with a nailing machine and shuts the upstream side duct relative to the air duster branch duct and a second position where the selector valve shuts the upstream side duct relative to the down stream side duct and opens the upstream side duct to the branch duct. The selector valve is operated from the outside by the operating device.
Abstract:
A fixing assembly is adapted to be secured to a workpiece with a fastener that is struck out from a nose part of a nailer. The fixing assembly includes a fixing formed with an insertion hole through which the fastener is to be inserted, and a guide member. The guide member includes a base part fixed to the insertion hole, and a guide part adapted to be elastically engaged with the nose part. An outer diameter of a distal end portion of the guide part is larger than an inner diameter of the nose part.
Abstract:
A stopper portion (108c) is formed at an upper end of a picking plate (108) of a tape grasping apparatus. When a driver handle (102) and a clincher arm (107) are closed, the picking plate arranged at the clincher arm is pivoted to this side and a claw (108b) of the picking plate is pierced to a front end portion of the tape (T) and the stopper portion (108c) impinges on a tape guide (106) of the driver handle to stop the picking plate. When the driver handle and the clincher arm are opened, the stopper portion is detached from the tape guide and the picking plate (108) is brought into elastic contact with a tape support plate (111) to clamp the tape. When the claw of the picking plate is pierced into the tape, the tape is not applied with strong tension and the claw can be prevented from breaking the tape.
Abstract:
A method of preventing loosening of a wire wound around a reel for fastening reinforcing bars. The method comprises pressurizing an outer circumferential surface of the wire inwardly in the radius directions of the reel so that elastic forces in the directions which the outer diameter of the wire is increased are deprived therefrom, and the condition of wound wire is maintained after the pressure is released.
Abstract:
An air duster duct 18 is formed to branch off at an intermediate portion along the length of an air duct 17 which connects a compressed air supply source 16 with a pneumatic tool. A valve mechanism having a selector valve 25 and an operating device 35 is provided at the branch portion. The sector valve 25 can shift to a first position where the selector valve 25 opens an upstream side duct 17a which communicates with the air supply source 16 to a downstream side duct 17b which communicates with a nailing machine and shuts the upstream side duct 17a relative to the air duster branch duct 18 and a second position where the selector valve 25 shuts the upstream side duct 17a relative to the down stream side duct 17b and opens the upstream side duct 17a to the branch duct 18. The selector valve 25 is operated from the outside by the operating device 35.
Abstract:
A rib (206c) is formed on a ceiling surface of a tape guide mounted on a driver handle of a binding machine for gardening, and two plate springs (224a, 224b) are mounted on the bottom plate portion of the tape guide. The plate spring (224a), which is situated on the downstream side, is elastically contacted with the rib (206c) to thereby allow the plate spring (224a) and rib (206c) to hold tape (T) between them, while the upstream-side plate spring (224b) is contacted with the tape. When a tape roll is rotated reversely and the tape is thereby pulled back, tension is applied to the tape existing between the rib (206c) and tape roll, and the upstream-side plate spring (224b) is raised up due to the friction of the tape to curve a passage of the tape, which increases the frictional resistance of the tape to thereby be able to prevent the tape (T) against reverse movement.
Abstract:
A brake mechanism of a wire reel arranged in a reinforcing bar binding machine in which a binding wire 3 is fed from a wire reel 2, wound round reinforcing bars 7, and twisted by a twisting hook 8 so that the reinforcing bars can be bound with the binding wire, comprises the steps of: a brake means 11; and a brake lever 12 for operating the brake means 11, wherein the brake lever 12 is linked with a motor 9 for driving the twisting hook 8, the brake means 11 is operated by the brake lever 12 when the twisting motor 9 is normally rotated so that the brake means 11 is engaged with the circumferential edge portion of the wire reel 2 so as to apply the brake to the wire reel 2, and the brake lever 12 and the brake means 11 are reversely operated when the twisting motor 9 is reversed so that the braking operation can be released.

Abstract:
A bag binding machine for binding a bag with a binding clip comprising a binding portion, a handle, a carrier, a feed unit, a crimping unit, and a delayer. The carrier is reciprocatively movable to the binding portion by an operation of the handle. The feed unit is provided on the carrier, and the feed unit includes a holding portion for holding the binding clip and a crossing portion for crossing leg portions of the binding clip. The crimping unit is disposed in a side opposite to the feed unit, and the crimping unit includes crimping mechanism for crimping the crossed leg portions of the binding clip. The delayer connects the carrier to the crimping unit for transmitting reciprocating movement of the carrier to the crimping unit in a delayed manner.
Abstract:
A portable motor-driven staple machine comprises: a trigger operation detecting switch 5 which is turned on and off by a trigger lever 3; a contact detecting switch 25 which is turned on and off by a contact arm 23; a cycle completion detecting switch 21 which is turned on and off by a plunger 17; and a mode change-over switch for selecting a single cycle operation mode or a continuous operation mode. Those switches are connected to a control circuit 26. When the trigger lever 3 is operated with the contact detecting switch 25 in "off" state, a timer section in the control circuit 26 counts clock pulses so that when it is detected that a predetermined period of time has passed, the switch "on" signal of the trigger operation detecting switch 5 is cut off. In the case where the continuous operation mode is selected, an automatic power interrupting function is released, so that the motor 7 is continuously driven; that is, staples are continuously driven into the object until the trigger operation detecting switch 5 or the contact detecting switch 25 is turned off.
