Abstract: The present invention relates to devices and methods for coating surfaces including surfaces of medical devices, in particular the coating of microprojections on microprojection arrays. Abstract: Provided is a container processing system capable of improving a speed of processing containers with a simple configuration and providing a compact production line. The container processing system (10) includes a container conveyer (20) having a container conveying path (21a) that conveys containers (C) arranged in a row and a container processor (40) that performs processing on the containers (C) in a container processing area (A2) set lateral to a container transfer area (A1) set in a segment of the container conveying path (21a). The container conveyer (40) includes a container carrier (21) conveying the containers (C) arranged in the row along the container conveying path (21a) and a container transferer (22) moving a container row including the plurality of containers (C) arranged in the row in the container transfer area (A1) toward the container processing area (A2).

Abstract: The disclosure concerns a coating device and a corresponding coating process for coating components, in particular motor vehicle body components, with a coating agent (e.g. paint), with a coating robot with a first printhead which is mounted on the coating robot. The disclosure provides that the first printhead is exchangeably mounted on the coating robot and can be exchanged for a second printhead during a color change. Another variant of the disclosure, on the other hand, provides for a second printhead to be mounted on the coating robot in addition to the first printhead, the two printheads each applying a specific coating agent in order to enable a color change without changing the printhead.

Abstract: A spray wand for use with a chemical or chemical formulation in solid form. Abstract: An absolute proportioning pumping system includes an electric motor assembly powering a first pump at a first flow rate and powering a second pump at a second flow rate. A proportioned fluid output includes a first fluid pumped by the first pump and a second fluid pumped by the second pump. The pumping system provides a desired ratio of the first fluid to the second fluid at the proportioned fluid output, relatively independently of pressure and flow rate at the output. In accord with further embodiments, a pump and motor assembly is mounted to and generally surrounded by a liquid tank. The pump and motor assembly may include a pair of fixed ratio outputs driven from a common motor, or may include a single variable output pump either slaved to a master pump or controlled through a timed bypass valve to control output flow rate.

Abstract: Provided is a container processing system that inhibits, a processing liquid that is used to process containers from being attached to peripheral equipment. The chamber (30) has container processing openings (36) and (37) making the gas flow control chamber (35) and an outside of the chamber (30) communicate with each other. The container treaters (51) and (61) are configured to perform, from inside the gas flow control chamber (35), processing on the containers (C), which are inserted into the chamber (30) through the container processing openings (36) and (37), or on the containers (C), which is opposed to the container processing openings (36) and (37), outside the chamber (30).

Abstract: In a microvolume-liquid dispenser, there is performed an application operation for dispensing a microvolume liquid present in an amount measured in nanoliters or picoliters from a nozzle tip-end opening and applying the microvolume liquid to an application surface. When the application operation has not been performed over a time interval longer than a set time interval ta, a tip-end liquid surface of an application liquid in the nozzle tip-end opening is caused to vibrate at a high amplitude that includes the position of a liquid surface height from immediately before application in the case of application at equal time intervals. The subsequently performed application operation is performed at a point in time when the liquid surface height has returned to the liquid surface height. The operation for applying the microvolume application liquid can be precisely performed in the same manner as when application is performed at equal time intervals.
