摘要： A lacrosse head having a frame and an articulated member moveably coupled to the frame. In one embodiment, a lacrosse head includes a stop member; a first sidewall connected to the stop member; a second sidewall connected to the stop member opposite the first sidewall; and a scoop connected to the first sidewall and the second sidewall opposite the stop member, wherein the first sidewall includes a first member integrally connected to the stop member and the scoop, and a second member moveably coupled to the first member. The second member can include pocket thread openings for attaching a pocket to the head. The lacrosse head can also include a stiffening member attached to the scoop and a sidewall of the frame, and a collared male plug for joining the frame to a hollow shaft.

摘要： A ball launcher allows a user to retrieve a ball from the ground and launch the ball, with accuracy, farther than the user can throw the ball by hand. The ball launcher uses an elongate tubular member having a handle at one end and an open opposing end. An annular ring encompasses either the inner surface of the tubular member proximate the open end, or the periphery of the open end. The annular ring has a diameter that is slightly smaller than the diameter of the ball to be retrieved and when the ball launcher is pressed upon the ball, the ball slightly deforms or the annular ring slightly expands allowing the ball to pass the annular ring and into the tubular member. The tubular member is arcuately swung in order to launch the ball therefrom.

摘要： A lacrosse head with improved weight and handling characteristics includes a frame element having a base portion, a scoop portion, and a pair of opposing sidewall portions extending between the base portion and the scoop portion. The frame element includes one or more cavities integrally formed within one or more of the sidewall portions, the base portion, and the scoop portion. In addition, the lacrosse head includes a no-skid surface integrated with a portion of the frame element. This surface is intended to create friction between the no-skid surface and a lacrosse ball, as well as to absorb kinetic energy of the lacrosse ball preventing the ball from inadvertently bouncing out of the lacrosse head or rattling therein.

The lace system includes specially shaped, sized, and positioned thong holes in the stop member of a lacrosse head, and a lace lock attached to the lacrosse stick below the thong holes. The thong holes in the stop member are not lined up in a straight line, are non-circular in shape, and are slightly smaller than the size of the thongs. The lace lock includes channeling holes and/or channels that align and compress the thongs, ridges that grip the thongs, a compression strap that locks the thongs tightly against the ridges, and a means for attaching the lace lock to the lacrosse stick.
