Abstract:
A racquet grip teaching device including a top clasp having five faces shaped and orientated to mate with a tennis racquet handle. The top clasp includes exactly five faces. The racquet grip teaching device includes a finger connector extending downwardly from the top clasp at a first end region of the top clasp. The device includes a finger guide disposed at an end of the finger connector, opposite of the top clasp, and shaped to receive a finger. The racquet grip teaching device includes a thumb connector extending downwardly from the top clasp at a second end region, opposite of the first end region. The teaching device includes a thumb guide disposed at an end of the thumb connector, opposite the top clasp, and shaped to receive a thumb.
Abstract:
Golf clubs according to at least some example aspects of this disclosure may include a golf club head and a shaft configured to engage with the golf club head which includes a grip engaged with the shaft. Further, the golf club may include a monitoring device, which includes a sensor and a transmitter. Additionally, the monitoring device may be configured to determine data related to the characteristics of a golf swing. Further, the monitoring device may be configured to transmit the data related to the characteristics of a golf swing to a remote computer.

Abstract:
A tennis racquet with a replaceable playing surface includes a frame, a cartridge, and a cartridge-lock with at least one key. The frame defines a cartridge support groove, a front upper half-oval bridge and a back upper half-oval bridge. Each bridge includes a head-guard. The front bridge with its head-guard and the back bridge with its head-guard define a planar passage way between the bridges. The cartridge includes a rim threaded with a string. The string defines a playing surface. The cartridge is shaped for removable snug fit in the support groove and in the planar passageway, such that when a replacement cartridge is snug within the frame, and when the at least one key is entered into the at least one key-aperture, the replacement cartridge is locked to the frame.
Abstract:
A tennis racket brush attachment to detachably mount a brush to the head of a tennis racket to provide a means of sweeping debris from the playing surface and cleaning the boundary lines of a tennis court comprising a first attachment element affixed to the head of the tennis racket and a second attachment element affixed to the brush wherein the first attachment element and second attachment element are similarly configured to selectively engage each other to detachably mount the brush to the head of the tennis racket.
Abstract:
A tennis racket having an optimized striking area made from a frame forming a ball striking portion and a handle, the ball striking portion including vertical and horizontal strings configured so as to form sweet spot areas, and a first horizontal bar integrally attached to the frame perpendicular to the handle, wherein the placement of the first horizontal bar affects characteristics of the sweet spot areas. The tennis racket may also include a second horizontal bar and/or two vertical bars.

Abstract:
A variably compressible device placed on the peripheral portion of a racquet frame over or through which a loop of racquet string is placed compressing and holding the device against the outside surface of the racquet frame. The device and method provides for a controlled degree of compressibility permitting selected strings to undergo greater deflection through processes of device compression and intrinsic string elongation when striking the ball compared to the behavior of an equivalent string striking the ball without the device.
Abstract:
A projection in operative connection with a tip of a racquet is provided, such that at least a portion of the projection extends outwardly from a frame of the racquet. The frame has a shape of a loop and a plurality of transversely orientated sets of strings that span the loop and are connected to the frame. The projection includes a substantially flat surface orientated parallel to the at least one face of the strings. The projection is in rigid connection with the racquet and extends from the tip of the frame opposite a handle connected to the frame for a distance operative to serve as a putting surface for putting a ball along the ground.
Abstract:
A stringing means is made integrally with, or an independent device secured on, the throat of a badminton racket. The badminton racket includes a hoop-shaped head with a longitudinal axis, a shaft and a throat connecting the shaft to the head along the longitudinal axis thereof. The head of the racket defines a stringed hitting surface with a sweet zone. The stringing means comprises at least two guiding holes and a guiding channel. Each of the guiding holes is spaced apart in a predetermined distance and includes an opened outer end to be as a string inlet and an inner end connected with the guiding channel. When a badminton racket is equipped with such a stringing means, portions of the string chords for forming the sweet zone of the stringed hitting surface can thread through the means and extend in parallel with the longitudinal axis of the head.
