摘要: An air conditioning assembly for an environmental chamber includes an air handling unit for supplying air to the environmental chamber. A plurality of ducts in fluid communication with the air handing unit and in fluid communication with the environmental chamber are configured to draw air from one side of the environmental chamber through at least one outlet vent, and to blow air into an opposite side of the environmental chamber through at least one equal but opposite inlet vent. At least one air conditioning means in fluid communication with the at least one air handling unit is configured to condition the air flow passing through the air handling unit. The at least one air conditioning means includes an altitude simulator for changing the oxygen content of the air flow. In use, the air conditioning assembly is configured to create substantially laminar air flow throughout the environmental chamber.

摘要: A portable hyperbaric oxygen (PHBO) hood system includes a main hood, a neck sleeve configured to be disposed below the main hood, a pump system configured to control a pressure in the main hood to create hyperbaric environment in the PHBO hood system, and an intelligent controller. The pump system includes a pump and a flow line configured to supply oxygen to the main hood via the pump. The intelligent controller is configured to receive an oxygen saturation value of a patient, receive an oxygen concentration value of the flow line, determine a target pressure of the main hood based on the oxygen saturation value and the oxygen concentration value, and control the pump system to change the pressure of the main hood to the target pressure.

摘要: A differential air pressure system has a pressure bag with windows and preferred folding configuration such that when the bag is folded no window is folded. The pressure bag is supported by a lift support that is proximal to a user control panel and adjacent to or nearly adjacent to the user who is coupled to the pressure bag. A treadmill base for use with differential air pressure equipment is provided. There are various improvements provided to adapt the operations of the DAP system via the use of separate pressure volume and non-pressure volume portions of the treadmill base. Various improvements to serviceability and repairs are provided by placement of components outside of the pressure volume portion or by providing one or more pressure volume access points.

摘要: A resuscitation chamber apparatus for administering hyperbaric oxygen to a patient. More particularly, the present invention relates to a hyperbaric oxygen compatible critical care chamber apparatus preferably for use in emergency departments and/or prehospital ambulance management of patients. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus is a resuscitation monoplace hyperbaric chamber preferably used in critical care management of acutely ill or injured patients in prehospital emergency medical services (EMS) settings or in hospital emergency departments. The apparatus preferably allows a critical care shock or arrested patient to be pressurized preferably without compromise for application of best medical equipment, medications and human resuscitating intervention.

摘要: An air conditioning assembly for an environmental chamber includes a suspended ceiling below a structural ceiling creating a plenum space. The suspended ceiling is configured to cover a substantially horizontal plane of the environmental chamber while leaving a first perimeter gap adjacent to a wall of the environmental chamber and a second perimeter gap adjacent to an opposing wall of the environmental chamber. A substantially vertical wall covers a vertical plane of the plenum space. At least one fan draws air from one from the environmental chamber into the plenum space through the first perimeter gap and blows air from the plenum space into the environmental chamber through the second perimeter gap. At least one air conditioning means in fluid communication with the at least one fan conditions the air flow passing through the at least one fan. The air conditioning assembly creates substantially laminar air flow.

摘要: A sterile environment system can include an enclosure and a support system. The enclosure can include a barrier separating a sterile environment inside of the enclosure from a non-sterile environment outside of the enclosure. The barrier can include an expandable portion configured to expand from an unexpanded state to an expanded state for working within the sterile environment, and a patient-interfacing portion including a fenestration configured for placement directly over an area of interest of a patient, the fenestration having a sealed state and an unsealed state for access to the area of interest from within the sterile environment. The support system can be coupled to the patient-interfacing portion of the barrier such that it is positioned on at least opposite sides of the fenestration.

摘要: A disposable pathogen containment device including a support frame structure. An enclosure made of a substantially air-tight flexible sheet material is mounted to the support frame structure. At least an access port is disposed in the enclosure with at least one of the at least an access port being adapted for enabling transmission of air into the enclosure. A suction structure is mounted to the enclosure. The suction structure comprises a suction connecting port adapted for being connected to a suction source and a suction conduit connected to the suction connecting port. The suction conduit comprises at least a suction opening for removing air from inside the enclosure. The at least a suction opening is placed such that air containing pathogen emitted from a pathogen emitting source disposed inside the enclosure is drawn away from the at least an access port.
