摘要： A flexible unit for collecting and transporting liquid to a collection point or to an area of use, and especially for facilitating management of urinary incontinence is provided which includes a flexible pad adapted to be positioned under an incontinent patient or worn under an undergarment. The pad is provided with an outer liquid permeable polymeric film layer, an outer liquid impermeable polymeric film layer and an intermediate cellular layer made up of a series of individual, spaced, thin wall, liquid impermeable polymeric cells. An aspiration assembly is connected to the pad for removing urine from the interior of the pad, which collects in the spaces between the individual cells. A disposable porous sheet, preferably comprising Dry-Weave® material, is releasably positioned over the outer permeable film layer of the pad. The pad may be sanitized and reused multiple times with only replacement of the Dry-Weave® sheet being required.

摘要： A male urine collection device has a short sheath the rear end of which fits over the glans and a short part of the shaft of the penis. The device is of latex rubber and is between 0.6 mm and 1.0 mm thick at its rear end. At its forward end, the device has a outlet tube which is joined to the rear end by a bulbous surge chamber. The rear end of the sheath is everted back over the outlet tube at the mouth of the surge chamber and is self supporting so that, when it is held against the tip of the penis, the rear end can be pushed rearwardly to cause it to revert about the penis. An adhesive band around the rear end of the sheath is protected by a release sheet which can be removed as the sheath reverts about the penis.

摘要： An external catheter, and the methods of making and using such a catheter, for a male urinary incontinence collection system, such system also including an adhesive attachment for holding the catheter in place. The catheter takes the form of a tubular sheath of thin elastic material having a cylindrical body section, a tapered neck section extending from the body section, and a reduced drainage tube section projecting from the neck section. Within the sheath, and constituting a unitary part thereof, is a tubular inner sleeve of soft elastic material having a distal end portion diposed within the neck section and a proximal end portion merging with the sheath's cylindrical body section. The sleeve tapers distally to define an annular space thereabout, and terminates in a reduced distal opening located at an intermediate point within the neck section. The sheath may be produced by a dipping process that includes the preliminary step of stretching a pre-formed tubular member (which ultimately forms the inner sleeve) over a dipping form, followed by successive dipping steps.

摘要： An catheterization device for a urine bag comprises a urine bag coupled with a sleeve unit, wherein the urine bag includes a conduit connected on the top end thereof and a tubular member connected on the lower end thereof and having a control valve mounted thereon, and the sleeve unit includes a sleeve body, a stop piece, and a double sided tape. The sleeve body includes an opening arranged on one end thereof and a connecting post extending from another end thereof for connecting with the conduit of the urine bag, and includes a ventilation hose extending from one side of the outer periphery thereof. The stop piece includes a through hole arranged at the center thereof and a slot disposed on one side thereof for communicating with the through hole, and the double sided tape is provided to adhere a male genital and the sleeve body.
