    Abstract: A hand-held, generally T-shaped disposable product applicator and a dispensing package therefor. The applicator comprises a resilient applicator pad portion and an upstanding finger grip portion. The applicator pad portion is normally substantially planar with a top surface and a bottom product applying surface coated or impregnated with the product to be dispensed. The upstanding finger grip portion is normally substantially planar with its sides providing finger grip surfaces. The finger grip portion is substantially normal to and extends transversely across the top surface of the applicator pad portion, bisecting the applicator pad portion into two substantially equal flaps. The applicator pad portion is foldable along its juncture with the finger grip portion with its bottom product applying surface folded upon itself. The finger grip portion is of such thickness that when the applicator pad portion is in its folded condition each half of the applicator pad portion top surface is substantially coplanar with the adjacent finger grip portion side. The dispensing package is adapted to receive a stack of applicators each with its applicator pad portion in folded condition. The package has a dispensing opening through which the handle portion of the end-most applicator of the stack is exposed for removal.

    Abstract: A hand-held, generally T-shaped disposable product applicator and a dispensing package therefor.     Abstract: The new composite flexible sheet material comprises a base sheet structure made up of a thermoplastic resin layer which is flowable or fusible at predetermined sealing conditions, plus a polyester backing layer non-flowable or non-fusible at said conditions. The thermoplastic layer is thicker than the backing layer. Adhered to the thermoplastic layer is a layer of polyester fibrous material not flowable or fusible at said sealing conditions. The fibrous material layer is capable of being substantially submerged into the thermoplastic layer upon the application of sealing conditions. A preferred invertible envelope-type packet is formed by using a composite sheet having a thermoplastic fusible layer and a non-fusible backing layer, and involves placing the thermoplastic layer inwardly and the backing layer on the exterior of the envelope. Opposing walls of the envelope are united along portions thereof adjacent the envelope cavity. The expanse of the sheet material forming each opposing wall extends beynnd a seal structure along one edge of the envelope cavity to form a pair of outwardly projecting earflaps. Sheet material forming one of the ear-flaps is folded back upon itself over th thermoplastic layer side thereof. Part of this folded back portion extends as a partition member substantially throughout the seal structure along the one edge; and this seal structure along said one edge is temporary and rupturable at the interface between the backing layer of the partition member and the thermoplastic layer of the opposing sheet.

    Abstract: A shoe cleaning device 10 comprises a rotatable disc 12, a housing 14 on which the disc 12 is rotatably mountable, the housing 14 having a circumference the same, or substantially the same, as the cleaning disc 12, and a motor 16 mounted sideways within the housing 14 to maintain an extreme low profile, the motor 16 remaining within, or substantially within, both a circumference of the housing 14 and of the cleaning disc 12.
