Abstract:
An apparatus includes a reversible tray. The reversible tray includes a first surface including a marking board. The reversible tray is configured to be used in a first configuration in which the first surface faces in a particular direction. A second surface is on a reverse side of the reversible tray and includes a padding. The reversible tray is further configured to be used in a second configuration in which the second surface faces in the particular direction. A pouch is attached to the reversible tray. The pouch is configured to receive and secure an object to the reversible tray.
Abstract:
The telescopic sight alignment tool is used to align the horizontal and vertical axes of the scope with corresponding axes of the firearm upon which the scope is mounted. The tool comprises a unitary structure having a plate with a vertical crosshair alignment slit, with an ocular seat extending forward from the lower portion of the plate. Upper and lower alignment indicators extend from the plate. Alternative embodiments provide variations upon the alignment indicators. The tool is placed upon the ocular of the scope and secured adjustably thereon with an elastic band. The tool is rotated to align the slit precisely with the vertical crosshair of the scope. The scope is then rotated in its mounts until at least one of the indicators of the tool is aligned with an element of the firearm, e.g., front sight, tang of the action, etc., and the mounts tightened to secure the scope.
Abstract:
A cabinet includes side panels, a back panel, and a top panel that frictionally-attach together with non-intrusive integrally-formed connectors. The illustrated base is screw-attached, and includes openings for routing wiring within the cabinet. Brackets are adapted to support shelves in the cabinet in either a flush or inset condition, and at different heights based on which cabinet slots they engage and based on their orientation in those slots. A light-transmitting top panel and top shelf can be used to provide improved light within the cabinet. Hinge brackets on the cabinet support either a thick door with internal storage space, a proud door or an inset door. Drawers supported in the cabinet include a lock within the drawer's header for operating a vertical cabinet lock rod.
Abstract:
A drawing board assembly includes a rectangular board including two opposite end portions each having a side wall transversely defining an elongate guiding track therein and a top wall. Two inverted L-shaped sliding bases are each slidably supported on a corresponding one of the two end portions of the board and each include a first plate abutting on the top wall and a second plate abutting on the side wall. Two slides are each fixedly mounted on the second plate of a corresponding one of the two sliding bases and are each slidably received in the guiding track A ruler is slidably mounted on the board, and an elongate frame is fixedly mounted on the ruler and includes two end portions each connected with the first plate of a corresponding one of the two sliding bases.
Abstract:
A student carrel construction system including a pair of hinge members each being flexible along the longitudinal axis thereof and having a first and second board receiving slot on either side of the longitudinal axis thereof, each of the board receiving slots being defined by a pair of sidewalls that are coated with an adhesive and covered with a peel off cover member; and at least three desk clips, each of the desk clips including a first surface, coated with an adhesive and covered by a peel off cover member, a desk top contact ledge extending perpendicularly from one end of the first surface, a curved portion curving under and past the one end of the first surface, and a desk bottom contact ledge extending in a direction substantially parallel to the desk top contact ledge.
Abstract:
An office furniture construction includes a desk having a primary work surface and a service unit mounted over the work surface including an overhead bookshelf and side located supports for supporting the overhead bookshelf. A work table is pivoted to the worksurface for horizontal movement between an inwardly pivoted position for use by the primary user, and an outwardly pivoted position for providing an open arrangement conducive for conferencing by a group of workers. The office system further includes a bifolding security door movably attached to the service unit for articulated movement between a storage position located generally under the overhead bookshelf, and a closed secured position covering a front edge of the work surface that prevents access to the primary work area. By using the security door, a primary user is able to leave confidential papers spread out on the primary work surface between work sessions, but is able to secure the papers from view by other workers even when the other workers use the table, such as when the primary user is gone.
Abstract:
A plan table having a flat table top for supporting a plan or plans. A pair of opposed side supports support the table top from the floor. A plurality of cylinders or tube are provided to receive rolled up plans. Each cylinder or tube extends through circular openings in the opposed side supports and each cylinder has at least one open end. A mechanism is provided to removably seal each cylinder open end to provide a sealed enclosure for storage of the plans.
Abstract:
A modular furniture system is shown which features a series of panels which can be manufactured and shipped in a knock-down condition. Various connecting accessories provide improved wire management capabilities and allow a variety of modular configurations to be assembled from a small number of component parts. An improved connector allows vertical support panels of adjacently arranged modules in the system to be connected without requiring holes to be drilled in the exposed edges thereof.
Abstract:
A drafting device connectable to a side of a drafting board having a top surface is disclosed. The device has a housing with a top, a pair of sides, a length, and an interior. A storage tray for drafting tools is affixed to the top of the housing. A removable trough is slidably mounted in the interior of the housing and has a retracted position, an extended position, and a pair of lips. A slot is contained on either of the pair of sides of the housing so that eraser shavings can be brushed from the drafting board through the slot and into the trough for keeping the drafting board clean.
