    Abstract: A bidirectional drawer system is disclosed. The bidirectional drawer system can include a frame. The bidirectional drawer system can also include first and second drawers slidably coupled to the frame. Each of the first and second drawers can be movable between a retracted position and first and second extended positions on opposite sides of the retracted position. In addition, the bidirectional drawer system can include a drawer interlock mechanism. The drawer interlock mechanism can include first and second interlock portions associated with the first and second drawers, respectively. The first interlock portion can have a cam with a cam surface, and a cam follower operable to interface with the cam surface. The second interlock portion can have a cam lock with a cam lock surface, and cam follower operable to interface with the cam lock surface. With the first and second drawers in the retracted positions, movement of the first drawer toward the first extended position can cause the cam follower of the first interlock portion to engage the cam surface and the cam follower of the second interlock portion to engage the cam lock surface thereby preventing movement of the second drawer out of the retracted position.

    Abstract: This invention is embodied in a bracket for installing side-mount, slide-out shelving. The key to this invention is an offset section of the bracket that permits the bracket to engage with a tab 4 on the side-mount slide. By engaging the bracket and the side-mount slide without having to use a fastener, an installer can locate and fasten the bracket to the existing cabinet base, thus securing the side-mount slide to the cabinet.

    Abstract: A hidden storage device for preferably safely storing, hiding and separating medications. The device is secured to a wall of a room and has a decorative element or mirror secured to an external surface of a door. Therefore, to a viewer the device appears to be a decorative object or mirror hanging from a wall with the storage area hidden. A plurality of drawers preferably numbered for each day of the month. The user separates his or her daily medication in each drawer. Each drawer can be divided and labeled into multiple sections to permit the user to further separate the daily medications into morning dosages and evening dosages. A lock can also be provided for locking the door in a closed position. One of the drawers can also be labeled with refill indicia to reminder the user to refill each drawer.

    Abstract: Furniture, such as bookcases and dressers, are child-proofed against tipping forward by being mounted to a wall by a combination of a rail attached to the furniture, the rail having an angled undercut, and a cleat. The rail and cleat have corresponding angled cuts so that, when the furniture is properly installed, the rail rests on the cleat and the furniture is prevented from tipping or falling forward. The cleat should be attached to a structural member, such as a stud behind drywall. An additional safety device for furniture having drawers is a retainer that, in an engaged position, holds existing drawers in place, and prevents the full insertion of drawers, unless the furniture is installed on a firmly attached cleat. The cleat disengages the retainer during proper installation of the furniture on the cleat, whereby drawers can be fully inserted and removed as desired by the user. Thus, a child climbing on open drawers in a dresser, or on shelving in a storage unit, will not be subjected to injury or death by the furniture tipping forward on to the child.

An anti-toppling interlocking mechanism is arranged between the side wall of the chest body and the drawers and comprises fixing pieces, a sliding rod and stop blocks, wherein the fixing pieces are installed on the side wall of the chest body, the sliding rod is installed between the fixing pieces and the side wall of the chest body, the stop blocks are installed on the side walls of the drawers, oblique slideways are arranged on the stop blocks, and the sliding rod and clamping tenons slide along the oblique slideways when the drawers are pulled out and pushed back. According to the anti-toppling drawer chest of the invention, the function that a single drawer is pulled out and the other drawers are locked is achieved.

    Abstract: An automatically adjustable connection structure contains: a fixing member, a movable member, a limitation plate, and a limiting element. The fixing member includes a vertical sheet and a horizontal sheet having two guiding protrusions and an elongated orifice. The movable member is fixed on the horizontal sheet and includes a top piece and two peripheral pieces, the top piece has a hole corresponding to the elongated orifice, and each of the two peripheral pieces has each of two cutouts, wherein among the two cutouts and the horizontal sheet is defined a clamping space. The limitation plate inserts through the hole and the elongated orifice, wherein the movable member engages with and removes from the fixing member, such that the movable member adjustably slides relative to the fixing member via the elongated orifice of the horizontal sheet.
