Abstract: Provided herein is an electronic cigarette defining a reservoir configured to contain a liquid to be vaporized.
The reservoir has two connection portions each of which have a port, the connection portions of the reservoir being configured to cooperate with two connection portions of a refill device. The electronic cigarette further includes two valves, each of which is connected to one of the two connection portions of the reservoir. The valves have a closed configuration in which the ports of the reservoir are closed, and an open configuration in which only liquid is able to flow through one of the ports of the reservoir and towards the inside of the reservoir, and only air is able to flow through the other of the ports of the reservoir towards the outside of the reservoir.

Abstract: A vaporizer device may include a controller and a heater control circuitry. The controller may generate, based at least on a temperature of a heating coil in a cartridge coupled with the vaporizer device, an output signal for controlling a discharge of a battery of the vaporizer device. The battery may be discharged to the heating coil to increase the temperature of the heating coil and cause a vaporization of a vaporizable material contained in the cartridge. The heater control circuitry may determine the temperature of the heating coil. The heater control circuitry may further control, based on the output signal from the controller, the discharge of the battery to the heating coil. The heater control circuitry may be powered by a voltage rail coupled to a voltage regulator configured to regulate an output voltage of the battery.

Abstract: A contained liquid system for use with a refillable aerosol delivery device is provided. The contained liquid system includes an aerosol delivery device having an adapter therein for receiving aerosol precursor composition within a reservoir of the aerosol delivery device, and a container of aerosol precursor composition having a corresponding adapter therein for transferring aerosol precursor composition from the container. The adapter and the corresponding adapter are removably, sealably connectable for refilling the aerosol delivery device with aerosol precursor composition. The adapter engages a valve of the corresponding adapter and includes a body defining separate and distinct filling airflow ports. The filling port transfers aerosol precursor composition from the container into the aerosol delivery device. The airflow port enables a flow of air through at least the portion of the aerosol delivery device when the adapter and valve are disengaged.

Abstract: An inhaler with an inner housing with a pressurised reservoir of an inhalable composition. A breath operated valve is operable by a user inhaling on an inhaling end of the inhaler. A composition flow path extends from the breath operated valve to the inhaling end via which the composition is dispensed when the breath operated valve is opened. The breath operated valve is biased closed by a biasing member contacting the breath operated valve at one end. A bung in the inner housing is positioned in an opening in the inner housing to support the end of the biasing member opposite to the breath operated valve. A rigid outer housing surrounds the inner housing and supports the bung.
