摘要: A pipe brace assembly includes a main clamp body that can be secured to a brace pipe. A cable, or other flexible tensioning member, can be wrapped around a braced pipe and secured to the main clamp body. The pipe brace assembly includes a method or mechanism for tensioning the cable or flexible tensioning member around the braced pipe. In some embodiments, the tensioning method or mechanism involves moving, such as rotating, the main clamp body to tension the cable or tensioning member. The clamping of the main clamp body and tensioning of the cable or tensioning member can occur simultaneously.

摘要: This invention allows attachment of strut channels 2, pipes, conduit, and mounting of equipment to the interior of buildings and other structures. Attachment to structures such as I-Beams, channels, structural angles, purlins and truss structures are improved. Extended use of self tapping screws 28 and commonly used metal strapping are enabled. The use of dimpled holes 7 facilitate insertion of self tapping screws 28 thus expanding their function. Tab cut outs 6 in attachment hardware that allow strapping to pass and hook provide new and efficient methods for using standard strapping. New mounting hardware in combination with beam clamps, another invention of mine, use the beam clamps along with appropriate accessories, which are part of that invention, to provide new methods of attachment. Strut channels 2 are changed to integrate the use of these improvements.

摘要: An articulation element consisting of a plurality of adjustable jaw pairs for the purposes of fixating the relative position of coupled bars and/or bone pins of an external bone fixator. Each of the adjustable jaws consists of a pair of hemispherical jaw elements contained within a spherical housing. A passage is eccentrically arranged through the jaw elements to accept the pin or bar. The jaw elements have interposed between them a spring element that serves to bias the jaw elements in the closed position. Pins serve to provisionally lock the jaw elements in the closed position. Spring loaded buttons act to release the pins thereby allowing the jaw elements to open accepting the pin or bar. The jaws are attached in a back to back fashion through the use of a threaded collar which acts as a turnbuckle pulling the jaws together when tightened.

摘要: The invention relates to a connecting device for the connection between a brace and a formwork girder. The device incorporates respective arms (3) which terminate at one of their ends in hooks (4) which can be coupled on a first flange of the brace (1) and has flat extensions (6) extending from tubular portions (5) intended to rest on a lower projection of the formwork girder (2). It also has parallel rods (7) located with an inclination opposite to that of the arms (3) traversing the tubular portions (5), which are linked by a connecting bridge (9) traversed by a screw (10), the adjustment of which determines the movement of a clamp (11) assembled on the rods (7). The clamp is provided with locking means (12) which can be coupled to a second flange of the brace (1), opposite the first, in order to secure the connection between the brace (1) and the formwork girder (2).

摘要: A wedge clamp providing for a positive attachment to structural angles, I-beams, H-beams, T-bars, plates, boards, conventional angles, bulb angles, channels, plates and other similar structural shapes comprises a clamp wedge and body that capture objects with two opposing planar surfaces securing the objects against each other using a bolt with nut or other means to engage the threads of the bolt to pull the wedge through the body and causing the objects being attached together to be squeezed together. The wedge clamp is also used to support other members using a bolt or threaded rod attached to the wedge clamp which in this case normally attaches to a single flange of the structure.

摘要: An adjustable pipe coupling assembly (10) has a first clamp (30), a second clamp (32), and means (38, 40, 44) for rotating the clamps independently about a first common axis shared by the clamps and extending vertically. The first clamp (30) includes a first pair of opposed ears (52, 54) spaced apart so as to allow a first pipe (16) to be located therebetween. Each one of the opposed ears (52, 54) has a hole (56, 58) formed therethrough. The pair of holes (56, 58) share a second common axis extending in a first horizontal plane and are adapted to receive first pivot means, such as a bolt (60), therethrough for engaging the first pipe (16). The first pipe (16) is, as a result, pivotable in a first vertical plane about the second common axis. The second clamp (32) includes a second pair of opposed ears (52, 54) spaced apart so as to allow a second pipe (18) to be located therebetween. Each one of the opposed ears has a hole (56, 58) formed therethrough. The pair of holes share a third common axis perpendicular to the second common axis and extending in a second horizontal plane, the pair of holes being adapted to receive second pivot means, such as a bolt (60), therethrough for engaging the second pipe (18). The second pipe (18) is, as a result, pivotable in a second vertical plane about the third common axis. The arrangement is such that, in use, the rotating means rotate the clamps so as to adjust the horizontal angle between the second and third common axes, and each of the first and second pivot means pivot their respective pipe so as to adjust the vertical angle between the first and second pipes.
