    摘要： A bracket to hold a boarding ladder to a boat. A quick release mechanism for both the ladder and the bracket itself are disclosed. A mounting plate is substantially flush with the side of the boat. The bracket slides down into the mounting plate and latches into place. The bracket accepts the upper bar of a boarding ladder and closes a latch over the bar, holding the ladder in place. To remove the ladder, a latch at the top of the bracket is lifted and the ladder can be easily pulled free. To free the bracket from the mounting plate after the ladder has been removed, the latch is lifted and the bracket can be lifted out.

    摘要： A gate latch in which a latch bar and/or latch body are adjustably mountable so as to allow repositioning thereof when such repositioning might be required, for example, as a result of misalignment of the gate structures due to sagging, etc. The locking bar may be provided with a plate fixed to a gate structure and have a plurality of paired apertures which are alignable with a pair of apertures in the bar. Thus, the locking bar may be adjustably positioned with respect to any given pair of apertures on the plate. The latch body may be adjustably mounted in a housing mounted on a gate structure. The housing may have portions which overlap the normal mounting flanges on the latch body. A pair of oppositely directed, opposed bolts may be threadedly mounted in flanges on the housing so as to cooperate with opposed surfaces on the latch body. When the body is to be vertically adjusted, one bolt can be loosened and the other tightened. Alternatively, the overlapping portions of the housing may frictionally grip the latch body flanges, thus holding the body but allowing it to be adjusted vertically, for example, by being tapped with a hammer. Flanges and/or overlapping portions may be provided with knurling or other surface roughening to inhibit inadvertent vertical movement of the latch body.

    摘要： A lock for a sliding door comprising a base member fixedly secured to an outer surface of a sliding door guide channel with a leaf member pivotly connected to the base member. The leaf member is pivotable from a position where it is substantially an extention of the base member and the door is freely slidable to a second position substantially perpendicular to the base member and the door is obstructed from movement from a closed to an open position. A translatable locking means carried by the base members is provided to prevent the leaf member from movement from its second position to its first position. An additional stop member is provided for attachment to the door when the door is positioned remote from its outer channel member for engagement with the leaf member when the leaf member is in its second position.

The cover is counterbalanced and includes an improved latching mechanism which presents no substantial obstruction to the well opening.     摘要： A selectively operable gate latch having a pair of latch arms which are independently movable between raised and extended positions. The latch is normally secured to the gatepost, and the arms are spaced apart to receive the gate when both are extended. One long and two short locking pins are selectively utilized to lock either or both of the arms in either position, in order to provide four basic latch configurations. To lock the gate closed, the long pin is inserted through transverse openings in the arms that are aligned when both arms are extended. To provide a gate stop or gate bump to prevent opening and closing of the gate except on one side, the two short pins are used to lock the arms in opposite positions (one arm raised and the other extended). The fourth basic configuration permits the gate to swing freely, thus both arms are locked in their raised positions either by the long pin or by both short pins.
