摘要: A cooking appliance includes a cooking cavity, a microwave module, a convection module, an upper heater module and a lower heater module. A turntable is rotatably mounted in the cooking cavity. The cooking appliance is operable for, and related methods may include, activating at least one of the microwave module, the upper heater module, the lower heater module, and the convection module, while also rotating the turntable within the cooking cavity within the cooking cavity. The cooking appliance is further operable for, and related methods may also include rotating the turntable to a predetermined position at a predetermined time.

摘要: An oven may include a cooking chamber configured to receive a food product, an EM heating system configured to provide EM energy into the cooking chamber using solid state electronic components, and control electronics configured to control the EM heating system. The control electronics are configured to enable user selection of a cooking program associated with cooking the food product. The control electronics select a first algorithm to direct application of the EM energy to the food product. The control electronics perform a learning process to receive feedback on execution of the cooking program during execution of the cooking program according to the first algorithm. Responsive to detecting a trigger event during the learning process, the control electronics are configured to select a second algorithm that is different from the first algorithm to direct application of the EM energy to the food product during execution of the cooking program.

摘要: An oven comprising a housing, a cavity, an H-shaped rotating door, a motor and a heat source is disclosed. The cavity, which includes an opening, is located within the housing. The H-shaped rotating door, which can be rotated by the motor, includes a first food loading section and a second food loading section. The H-shaped rotating door also serves as a cover to prevent heat within the cavity from escaping through the opening. The heat source provides heat to the cavity to heat up any food item placed on one of the food loading sections located within the cavity.

The energy conversion assembly may be configured to convert at least some of the RF energy into thermal energy for heating the food product, while at least some other portion of the RF energy is directly applied to the food product to heat the food product.

The multifunctional microwave oven may always dry food by generating warm air by using the warm air supply portion and allowing the warm air gathered in the warm air accommodation space to flow upwardly, regardless of whether or not the multifunctional microwave oven is used to heat food.

摘要: A speed cooking oven is disclosed comprising a cooking cavity, thermal heating source, air movement and directing means, air delivery means, and a vent assembly. Hot gas is circulated to and from the oven cavity via air delivery means such that turbulently mixed glancing, conflicting and colliding gas flow patterns mix at and about the surfaces of the food product. The turbulently mixed gas flows are spatially averaged over the surface area of the food product producing high heat transfer, thereby optimizing speed cooking of the food product.

摘要: A platter for use in a forced air/microwave combination oven, the platter comprising an upper surface and a lower surface and incorporating a plurality of apertures passing through the thickness of the platter; wherein one or both of the surfaces of the platter incorporate a recess substantially surrounding at least one of the apertures. The invention also provides a platter incorporating an indentation shaped to receive an item of cookware, the indentation being positioned to align the cookware with microwave radiation in the oven in use. Additionally, the invention provides a platter incorporating apertures distributed over substantially the entire surface area of the platter, and also a platter comprising a central region substantially devoid of apertures, and one or more apertures at substantially the edge of the platter. Preferably the platter is made of a polymer material, particularly preferably a liquid crystal polymer resin such as DuPont (RTM) Zenite (RTM) 7130. Also provided is a method of cooking using such a platter.
