An input is received via the control, the input including an indication of a selection of a location in the texture strip, the location in the texture strip having a corresponding temporal location in the series of frames. Based on the input, a frame selected from the series of frames is displayed in the video display, the selected frame located at the corresponding temporal location in the series of frames.

摘要： An ad in a movie can be a static ad having a position in the movie that cannot be moved, or a dynamic ad having a position in the movie that can be changed. When a viewer wishes to skip a portion of the movie containing the ad, the playback system determines whether the ad is static or dynamic. If the ad is static, only the portion of the movie preceding the static ad can be skipped; the ad is unskippable. This technique is referred to as “bounceback” since the end of the skip bounces back to the start of the static ad. If the ad is dynamic, it is moved to after the end of the skip. This technique is referred to as “slip-ad” since the ad slips to later in the movie. When a movie has multiple ads, some can be static and some can be dynamic.

摘要： An array-camera imaging system and method for producing a rendered image are presented, wherein the system includes a plurality of imagers, a plurality of image processors, and a plurality of memory modules that are networked with the image processors via a communications bus. Each image processor provides processed and processed image data from at least one imager to the memory modules. Preferably, the processed image data is distributed among the memory modules at multiple resolution scales. In response to a request from an image rendering system, image data is read out from the memory modules at the resolution scale of the request.

Furthermore, the data processor can determine a first data segment by applying the first timestamp on the data flow, wherein the first data segment is associated with a time period in the time sequence that includes the first time.

摘要： Techniques and devices for acquiring and compressing timelapse video are described. The techniques are adaptive, in that the acquisition frame rate is adapted and captured images are periodically deleted during filming. To implement the method, a user need not know ahead of time how long the source video will be acquired. Regardless of the acquisition time, the resulting video is automatically edited to provide a timelapse clip of a predefined length or of a length within a predefined range.

An editor can use the texture strip to edit the movie, rather than editing the movie directly. Deep tags and/or special effects can be defined for the texture strip using a graphical interface. The graphical interface enables movies to be combined into a playback product according to a control structure graphically presented in the graphical interface.

The media sharing system streams a transcoded version of the media stream to user devices that request the media stream broadcast. Additionally, as the media stream is received from the broadcaster system, the media sharing system generates media segments that include the content of the media stream. Based on programming information received for the media stream, the media sharing system creates a media clip for each program included in the media stream. The media sharing system uses content from the media segments to generate the media clips. Further, as a user is viewing a media stream broadcast to the user's device by the media sharing system, the user may request the creation of a media clip from the media stream. The system identifies media segments that include content of the desired media clip and creates the media clip.

摘要： An exemplary method includes a cloud-based service provider system detecting an input command provided by a user during a scheduling session and representative of a request for a local digital video recording (“DVR”) system to record a media program during a presentation time period. In response to the detecting of the input command, the cloud-based service provider system identifies a conflict associated with the request for the local DVR system to record the media program, performs a prioritization operation to determine a relative priority of media programs that are at least one of scheduled to be recorded by the local DVR system at any given time during the presentation time period and currently recorded in a memory of the local DVR system, and automatically performs, based on the performing of the prioritization operation, a predetermined action to resolve the conflict and facilitate the local DVR system recording the media program.
