摘要: In an electric power conversion device according to an embodiment, a chopper converts electric power from a power supply into direct-current power. An inverter converts the direct-current power into alternating-current power. Pairs of resonant capacitors are connected to a direct-current input section of the inverter. Each of the pairs is in series. Primary windings of high-frequency transformers are connected to the inverter and respective midpoints of the pairs of resonant capacitors. The high-frequency transformers convert the alternating-current power of the inverter. Rectifiers convert alternating-current power supplied from secondary windings of the high-frequency transformers into direct-current power. One or more voltage detectors detect output voltage of one or more of the rectifiers. A control device controls the chopper on the basis of output of the voltage detectors such that an output voltage of the direct-current power comes to a predetermined voltage value.

First sides of the bi-directional DC conversion units are coupled to the first DC bus. Second sides of the bi-directional DC conversion units are configured to form at least one second DC bus, and the number of the at least one second DC bus is a bus number. The bi-directional DC conversion units receive a bus voltage of the first DC bus and convert the bus voltage into at least one DC voltage, or the bi-directional DC conversion units receive at least one external DC voltage and convert the at least one external DC voltage into the bus voltage.

The transformer stage may include at least one power transformer to receive the primary current from the (DC-AC) power converter on a primary side of the transformer stage and to output a first voltage through a first rectifier and a first set of secondary windings disposed on a secondary side of the transformer stage. The transformer stage may further include an auxiliary set of secondary windings disposed on the secondary side to output a second voltage. The apparatus may also include a pair of active unidirectional switches disposed on the secondary side to receive the second voltage from the auxiliary set of secondary windings.

摘要: A power conversion circuit is provided. According to the topologies of power conversion circuits and the corresponding control manners of the present disclosure, the output voltage is greatly reduced relative to the input voltage, and thus the function of voltage reduction is achieved. Moreover, a voltage-second product of the time and the voltage across the first output inductor and a voltage-second product of the time and the voltage across the second output inductor are both greatly reduced. Accordingly, the inductance, volume and loss of the first output inductor and the second output inductor are greatly reduced. Therefore, the voltage regulation module may receive the low output voltage outputted by the power conversion circuit, thereby reducing the overall volume of the voltage regulation module and increasing the power conversion density and conversion efficiency of the voltage regulation module.

摘要: An interleaved LLC converter arrangement includes two or more LLC converters for transferring power from an input side to an output side, wherein the two or more LLC converters include a first LLC converter and a second LLC converter connected in parallel on the input side and on the output side and wherein each LLC converter includes a bridge inverter at the input side. For balancing the power transfer among the LLC converters if for example the second LLC converter transfers more power from the input side to the output side than the first LLC converter, each leg of the bridge of the bridge inverter of the first LLC converter is operated with a duty cycle of 0.5 and at least one leg of the bridge of the bridge inverter of the second LLC converter is operated with a duty cycle different from 0.5.

摘要: Methods and devices for power conversion. High frequency electromagnetic waves traveling in coupled transmission lines and their reflective properties are used to perform the power conversion. The use of high frequency operation allows for physically small transmission lines. The high operating frequencies also allow for small filter capacitors at the outputs of the power converter and hence allowing for fast response times in load changes or fast signal changes in case of a gate driver. The transmission lines can be implemented on the printed circuit board, laminate or even on chip. In case of a step up converter the switching elements are not subjected to the higher output voltage levels of the power converter and can therefore be implemented in a lower voltage process technology. Further, embodiments with and without galvanic isolation are described and physical embodiments to reduce undesired electromagnetic emissions are disclosed.

The primary-side controller varies an output voltage value and an available output current value (MAX value) of the DC/DC converter by controlling the input current on the basis of the control input signals fed back from the secondary-side controller.

摘要: Disclosed in the present invention is a four-port power electronic transformer based on a hybrid modular multilevel converter (MMCs). The four-port power electronic transformer includes a hybrid MMC, direct current (DC)/DC converters, and an inverter. Each DC/DC converter includes a front stage part, a high frequency transformation part and a back stage part. Compared with an existing power electronic transformer, the present invention has the following characteristics: an MMC module and a front stage of a DC/DC circuit connected to the MMC module jointly complete DC fault ride-through, and the number of adopted devices is small; the MMC module controls a DC voltage and the DC/DC circuit controls power; voltages of one or two capacitors in the module can be controlled independently or simultaneously; and the four-port power electronic transformer has four ports: a high-voltage DC port, a high-voltage alternating current (AC) port, a low-voltage DC port, and a low-voltage AC port, and is applicable to a high-voltage high-power scenario with multiple voltage types and levels, particularly to the energy internet to be used as an energy router and the like.
