    摘要: Adapters, terminal devices, USB connection devices and charging stations are disclosed. The adapter includes a first port configured to connect to an alternate current (AC) source, a conversion module configured to convert an AC power from the AC source into a direct current (DC) power, a second port configured to connect to a first electronic device and provide power thereto, an uplink interface configured to connect to the first electronic device, a downlink interface coupled with the conversion module to obtain an external power supply therefrom and configured to connect to a second electronic device, and a signal control module arranged between the uplink and downlink interfaces, and configured to control a status of a signal in the downlink interface based on a status of a power supply of the uplink interface. The second electronic device enters one of the operating and charging modes based on the status of the signal in the downlink interface, when the second electronic device is coupled with the downlink interface. With the present invention, charging of an electronic device which can be charged only upon recognizing the signal line status of the downlink interface can be enabled even if a computer is powered off or in a sleep state.

    摘要: A portable power charger having an internal rechargeable battery includes a charger housing having at least power connection port and a flashlight portion having at least one flashlight bulb. The power connection port is operatively connected to the rechargeable battery and can be used to connect the charger with an external power source, an electronic device, or both. The flashlight is operatively connected to the internal battery as well, either via a direct connection, via the power connection port, or via a dedicated rechargeable flashlight battery unit that can be recharged from the battery unit of the power charger. The power connection port can act in a power input mode when the charger is connected with an external power source via the power connection port and in a power output mode when at least one electronic device is connected to the charger via the power connection port.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for charging an electrical device (102) with a charger (101) via a data interface (103). The data interface (103) comprises at least a first data line (D+) and a second data line (D−) coupling the charger (101) and the electrical device (102). According to the method, the charger (101) and the electrical device (102) are coupled through the first and second data lines (D+, D−). At the charger (101) the first and second data lines (D+, D−) are short-circuited (301). The electrical device (102) detects, if the first and second data lines (D+, D−) are short-circuited and in response to the detected short-circuit (301) at the charger (101), the electrical device (102) short-circuits (401) the first and second data lines (D+, D−). Then, the charger (101) opens the short-circuit (301) of the first and second data lines (D+, D−) and detects, if the first and second data lines (D+, D−) are short-circuited at the electrical device (102). The charger (101) supplies a charging current to at least one of the first and second data lines (D+, D−) in response to the detected short-circuit (401) at the electrical device (102).

The flash drive can be connected to two devices, a source device and a mobile device, and can be used to transfer power from the source device to the mobile device to, for example, charge a battery of the mobile device. The flash drive can also be used to transfer data between the two devices. For example, the flash drive can be connected to the source device, which can copy, e.g., a movie to the flash drive. The mobile device can be connected to the flash drive, and the movie can be copied or streamed to the mobile device. A user can watch the movie using the mobile device while the mobile device is using power from the source device to charge a battery of the mobile device.
