The fixture includes a first cable support that defines a ring cut plane and a second cable support that defines a slitting plane.

The die body includes a first side, a second side, and a groove extending at least partially between the first side and the second side. The groove extends along an axis. The first ridge protrudes from a surface of the groove toward the axis by a first distance. The first ridge extends along at least a portion of the perimeter of the groove and extends at least partially around the axis. The second ridge protrudes from the surface of the groove toward the axis, and the second ridge extends parallel to the axis along at least a portion of the groove.

摘要： A manually-operated wire stripper is a device for cutting and removing the electrical insulation from an electrical wire. The device includes a base plate onto which a first mounting plate and a second mounting plate are perpendicularly mounted. A first rod is rotatably mounted through the first mounting plate and the second mounting plate. A cutting assembly is mounted for longitudinal movement to the first rod and may be moved into position such that a blade of the cutting assembly is aligned with a selected slot from a plurality of wire slots traversing through the base plate. An electrical wire may be stripped by inserting the electrical wire through the selected slot, creating a cut in the electrical insulation with the blade, and then manually pulling the electrical wire through the selected slot to remove the electrical insulation along the length of the electrical wire.
