    摘要: A flat conductor connector includes terminals, a housing, a slider movable between a retreat position and an advance position, and a detection member detecting the advance position. The housing includes a locking portion lockable to a flat conductor. The locking portion protrudes in an upper-lower direction. The slider allows at the retreat position, and restricts at the advance position, removal of the flat conductor. The slider includes an abutting portion and an arm portion. The abutting portion restricts movement of the flat conductor. The arm portion is lockable to the housing when the slider is at the advance position. The detection member attached to the slider moves around a detection position, and includes a restriction portion. The detection member at the detection position makes the restriction portion abuttable with the arm portion The detection member absent from the detection position prohibits the restriction portion from abutting the arm portion.

    摘要: A ribbon cable connector is fixed at an end of a ribbon cable. The ribbon cable has a plurality of electrical conductors extending parallel and distanced to one another. The ribbon cable connector includes an insertion slot extending in a plugging direction and receiving the ribbon cable, a plurality of contact element receptacles extending parallel and distanced to one another, a plurality of structures in the insertion slot extending parallel to one another and aligned with the contact element receptacles, and a clamping device configured to clamp the ribbon cable in the insertion slot. An end of the insertion slot inside of the ribbon cable connector adjoins the contact element receptacles in the plugging direction. The structures are each separated from one another by a partition wall.

A conductive terminal is arranged within the receptacle and adapted to contact an exposed conductor of the flat flexible cable received within the receptacle. A seal is positioned in contact with a front end of the housing and defines a cable receiving slot therethrough aligned with the receptacle.     摘要: For easy removal of a flat-plate-shaped signal transmission medium while reduction in height and size is achieved with a simple structure, a structure is adopted for an electric connector as follows. That is, a release operating part of a lock releasing member which causes a lock member in an engaged state to make a transition to a released state is arranged along an insertion opening. The release operating part and a release acting part are arranged in opposite regions in a radius direction of rotation of a support shaft part. The release operating part can make reciprocating rotations between an initial position away from the insertion opening and an acting position close to the insertion opening. Thus, when a flat-plate-shaped signal transmission medium is removed, the flat-plate-shaped signal transmission medium can be held while the engaged state of the lock member with respect to the flat-plate-shaped signal transmission medium is released by one hand of an operator.
